Chequers — Restaurant in South Kesteven

I witnessed the owner go over to 2 members of the public who was blocking the path of a woman and her Male friend leaving the establishment. When in fact it was 2 fully grown men blocking the door way of her leaving!! I didnt think this venue welcomed bullying and intimidation. Wont be back again. Also can I state that no door men was called whilst this was all kicking off. To witness the owner allow 2 men to grab hold of a woman on her own whilst doing NOTHING wrong. I WONT be visiting again. IF I wanted to witness this I would of gone to...

OK place nice to see live music but could do with less bands and more local singers even if the owner doesn't like ballad singers the place would be fuller with some of the local favourites also should have a built in sound system of quality cause generally the ones I have heard from the groups are very poor atmosphere...

Me and my mate were working away, a bloke recommended this place to us, so we went. Quirky little place, with loads of character, and it also sells Aspalls Harry Sparrow The staff (particularly the young blonde lady, who's name I didn't get, unfortunately) were excellent. Definitely go there if you're in that neck...
