3 years ago we had a first meal here and I was genuinely speechless with the food! The quality was second to none with real authentic flavours. We do a lot of travelling around the uk and set a task to find a Nepalese restaurant that can compete with the Gurkha 91. We've eaten the same meal, about 4 times a months for the last 3 years so we know are dish well. So far to date not one restaurant has come close! The bar has truly been set high and we very much doubt we'll succeed in finding a worth opponent.
My hat is off to these lovely people for their truly amazing food and warm hospitality!!!

We were there just after opening time, service was quick which sometimes is not a good sign but we were very impressed with the quality of the food. The bhaji were crisp, not at all oily and beautifully spiced. The samosas nice but the very best were the veggie dishes, quite different in flavour to our normal restaurants. All very flavoursome, each very different to the others (often not the case with veggie options) and made with fresh ingredients. Would recommend to anyone...

Unpleasant fruity taste which has turned a nice new years evening meal in, into a lack lustre mediocre meal, which I could have cooked better myself from the remnants in the cupboards. Will not be returning. Edit..... My partner spoke to the restaurant owner and they have apologised for the error and have refunded us the cost of the curries which were wrong. They've also given us complimentary curry sauces to bring home to try and if these korma sauces are the normal ones then we may order again...
