Hidden gem 5* star authentic cuisine, where traditional kerala style - Southern Indian food is served. A light and fragranced way of cooking , serving divine food - well worth a try !!! Be adventurous and go with the recommendations, as the food will not disappoint. You will encounter tastes, that are unique to this culture and not like the Indian food more frequently served in the uk high street. If you want a different style of food , served in a relaxing atmosphere with authentic music, indian beer and good Italian pinot Grigio to wash it all down, then this is for you! Spotless clean toilets and staff so pleasant and kind. Greeted at the door, by Nita and her husband Thomas the chef, before having personal service from Ram, the owner who could not have been more accommodating. The whole experience from start to finish was amazing, as Nita and Ram combined could not have been more hospitable. This was an excellent Saturday night choice in Bourne, that we are blessed to have, in a small local town and at an affordable price ,serving big portions. Delicious authentic South Indian food. My wife is from Mumbai and says this is the best Indian restaurant she's found in 3 years in the UK. The seafood and vegetarian dishes in particular were great. My parents ordered the chicken tikka masala and found that the chicken was a little overcooked, but that was the only complaint. It was also a bit more spicy than they're used to - it was marked as medium spicy and they would have been better off ordering something mild, so that's worth bearing in mind if your tolerance is lower. Food lovely especially soft shell crab. Loved that there was a recommendation for something wet and saucy as what we had ordered was all dry. As a suggestion you might want to offer customers some help with their choices eg “can I make a suggestion about what you order with that …”. All very friendly and accommodating.
