Went in on a Sunday and ordered no problem. Sat down waiting for coffee which took over 10 minutes because the "trainee supervisor" (Kane) was talking to his friends over the counter stood at the coffee machine. While waiting he sent one of his members of staff round at 2:30 to let everyone know they are closing at 4 which is ridiculous that you get told they close in a hour and a half. Finally got mine and my Mum's coffee and then the trainee supervisor comes out and asks people to move towards the entrance as he wants to close down half the store (it has approx 20 tables). My Mum then refused and the trainee supervisor got in her face and was talking to her using names like my love and darling and waving his arms about. Read moreAwful experience. Things always go down hill when you have a lousy manager and cluless and lazy workers with no dedication. Boxing Day. They close 4pm. We arrive 20 minutes to 4pm and three very young ladies tell us sorry we cannot make you coffee because we close at 4 and we are cleaning the machines. They say the manager told them to do so. Closing at 4pm means you start cleaning and stop making coffee at 4pm not at 3:30. The ladies agree with us but they say they have to listen to the manager. This is really bad for Costa and I will make sure they hear about it. Seems to me like very bad management with clueless staff who just all want to go home.
