While on a barge holiday on the Thames, we moored up in Goring. A bit jaded with pub style eating, we decided that we would have a curry but take away as we have a dog and they aren’t allowed inside, however they do have seating outside which we could have used. We thought that the prices were a little on the higher side but holiday treat and all that. We were not disappointed. WOW, all three of us had something different and all three of us said that it was one of the best curries we had ever had. The bhajis were absolutely amazing, good size and great texture and taste. I had the Lamb Halim, and honestly I’d pick that as my last meal on earth. So I’d say to anyone if you’re in the area or even an excuse to visit Goring, you must try Masooms, as I’d be very surprised if you weren’t blown...

Read moreI ordered an all vegetarian meal, a curry, a potato dish, and special fried rice. With the exception of the rice the rest was swimming in oil.not a good result for what I was expecting. I then had to poor off the oil in order to be able to eat the meal. I was under the impression that good chef’s cooking Indian meals rotate their cooking bowls that encourages the oil to burn off! Will think hard before I ordering again. Sorry!
