Balti Palace — Restaurant in South Staffordshire

Whilst we were filming with the BBC, the night was still young and i was running on empty. So after a quick search on places to eat nearby came across Balti Palace. It was previously called something else but under new management and a new lease of life in the place it really looked bright and cosy. Thankfully the quality of the food matched the cosy atmosphere of the place. Staff were helpful and friendly and communicated with humor which was nice and different then what i was use to. Sop the food came out and WOW! the presentation was top notch almost as though you were fine dining but without the bill that would have come with it.

Took my Mom and husband after my sister raved about the food here. Have to say, the meals were deliciously tasty, our waiter (Olly) was extremely polite, professional, smartly dressed and very helpful.

The food was beautifully presented, fresh and cooked to perfection. The price we paid for three meals, a couple of side dishes, soft drinks and desserts was much less than I’ve paid in other Indian restaurants for food that was no where near as good as here.

We were so impressed, we’ve booked for Christmas Day and will be there a few times before then!

First time visiting, the customer service was excellent. The staff were very friendly and polite - couldn’t fault them.

However, the food was not up to standard unfortunately. The main dish lacked of lot of seasoning and salt which was quite bland. The paratha was extremely dry no butter. The rice had no seasoning it was just coloured I had to add salt to taste when I got home, which I felt disappointed given the really good reviews.
