I just wanted to say how hard Beth and Sheena are working to get the pub back to how it used to be. You can really see the effort they’re putting in every day, the place is looking cleaner and tidier already, and it’s great to see it coming back to life again. Popped in for a quick drink while passing on a walk. Ended up staying for much longer than planned due to the friendliness of Ben, the owner, who invited us out to the fabulous fire pit and seating area out the back. Was visiting family so I thought we would pop in for a quiet pint. Reasonably priced beer and a wide selection of choices from ciders to ales. Very friendly bar staff and friendlier locals. Pub snacks that can only be described as "just what I needed". Even managed to catch some cricket on the tele as they had sky sports. Will definitely be going again when I'm next...
