Wont be returning, they forgot some of the order, when we asked where it was as we had almost finished we were told to wait - WOW ! The rest of the food finally came however we had all finished so asked them to take it off the bill, went to pay and advised the service wasn’t great to be told we only ordered starters! Since Bubs sold the business on the new owners has let standards and quality slip. The chicken is horrid and rubbery. We as a family have been coming to the village lodge for over 12 years and never had a bad meal. Since the beginning of the year we have had issues with every meal ate there. Bring back the old owners and quality of food. Shame as we loved eating here but...

Ordered the mixed grill. Portion was smaller than expected and didn't have no flavour. The chicken hardly had any meat on it.
