Didn't actually get to order. Namaste means respect to another person it's a shame they didn't follow that. From entering the establishment with my aunt we were looked down on with unhidden disdain. Ok we weren't dressed up but I had went straight from work so was smart casual/office dress. There were lots of empty tables but we were shown to a tiny one hidden away in the corner. I'm not a small girl so had real difficulty trying to actually sit at the table as it was such a small area. As I was looking at the wine menu the waiter came and took the wine glasses away? So I asked him why he had done that to which he initially pretended not to understand me then said he didn't think we would want wine. When I asked why he thought that he sneered down his nose and said you don't look like you would!. I don't know what he thinks people who drink wine look like but I didn't wait around to find out. I said thought he was very rude and left. Not once did he apologize or attempt to stop us leaving..he just walked away very blase. On my way out I asked if there was a manager and he said no. I asked really? No manager and he said it's his day off. Needless to say I won't go back there in a hurry and can't even say if the food was any good or not. The customer service is disgusting and if it was the other way around I would probably be looking at discrimination charges. So rude and...
Read moreWe ordered a Takeaway Last night for a Birthday Celebration as obviously we couldn't book a table at the present time. Namaste is our Family Favourite and we have had the food quite a few times we love the service, food and staff are always friendly. Sadly when we opened our Takeaway it was not the food we were expecting. 2 Onion Baji Starters were dry and overcooked and very small. The Kashmiri Chicken was all sauce with a couple of small pieces of chicken I ordered my usual Chicken Balti that has always been the best I've ever had but sadly this was Not a Chicken Balti it was Bright Orange in Colour No Spice or Garnish and was mixed with Ground Keema it was Cold and a Solid Lump when pour out as if it had been taken out of the freezer. We were Very Disappointed. Our order was 2 Starters, 2 mains, 1 flavoured rice and 1 pilau Rice , 1 chips, 2 flavoured nan bread and 2 papadums which should have been £26.10 and with delivery came to £32.35 when the food was priced up it worked out at around £6.25 for delivery. Which is pricey but hey its Namaste and we thought worth it as a Birthday Celebration but sadly...
Read moreAlways a beautiful curry here. Id been several times but the other 3 were there for the first time. There were 4 of us and we all enjoyed the food. The starters and mains were gorgeous. The only criticism was we felt rushed. We'd only just got the drinks and the starters arrived within 5 mins. Some of our party were still waiting through the bar to get served. They took away the starters and brought out the mains immediately so no break at all. Once these were taken away and once they'd checked we wanted nothing else, the bill was put on the table. It took approx 1hr20 for the whole meal and it just felt rushed. We were asked to leave the table as they needed it. It was a Friday night. The prosecco lounge bar, which is attached, has a lot of drinks offers such as buy one, get one half price. You can't use this offer in the restaurant. Lovely place, the staff are friendly and I'd recommend it, but I didn't like feeling rushed. They brought out trays so we could take our...
