I've been here a couple of times now. I'll start with the negatives.

The first time, they got our order mixed up so we had to wait for quite a while. My meal (a pizza) was then a little bit of a mess, albeit perfectly tasty and well cooked. The second time - a Saturday evening - they said they had no pizzas, which was annoying as me and my girlfriend had planned to get two pizzas and a garlic bread pizza. I just found it a bit baffling that something that features quite prominently on their menu wasn't available, particularly at a time and day where a lot of people would probably opt for that sort of meal. The staff are friendly enough, and mostly in their late teens and early 20s. However, I think, with all due respect, they need a little bit of a kick up the rear because they're a bit too chilled out sometimes, and not apologetic enough when things go wrong.

I won't criticise the place too much, though, as the food is really good, and little things like free water from the bar are a nice touch. They also allow dogs in, which is a huge plus! There's a nice, chilled vibe in there too and plenty of space to sit as there is an upstairs seating area as well. Pricing is fair.

All in all, more positives than negatives. A few tweaks here or there could make this into a...

Me and my ex were out in town and wanted to eat some good breakfast. My mom recommended this cafe to me, saying that it looked quite good and that they served healthy and real food. We decided to try it out and eat there, when we arrived we saw that there was a selection of healthy foods for sale (snacks and stuff). There is a nice upstairs seating area with a good view which we decided to go up to.

We ordered two wraps, smoothies, and a side of skin on fries. The smoothies came first and they were really good, made with fresh fruit and it was clear they were made with good ingredients. They tasted really nice. The wraps were huge portions and came with a side of salad and presented really well in what looks like recyclable / eco packaging.

The wraps were full of meat and sides and were really filling. The skin on fries were not greasy and tasted really fresh, it was very clear that the ingredients were high quality. Overall the food was amazing, albeit not cheap, but I think that the quality makes up for it.

Would highly recommend for fresh and tasty food with...

The review is only based on this single experience. The next review will likely be a 4/5 as it is usually from what we expect from my wife's go to takeaway. With that in mind I'll keep it simple. If you close at 9, stop taking orders at 9. Tables turned up and folks looking to knock off at 5 to 9 is not closing at 9. Say that you close at 8:45 so everyone can get themselves together to be switching on their ignition at 9:01. My wife drove 5 hours straight back from work today whilst I was looking after our 2 year old. You wouldn't take an order over the phone from her (fine... Policy...I get it) but she was assured that if I ran down before 9 that we would be in there like swimwear. It's been a long couple of days for both of us and that 8:55 within opening hours order order would have really made things sweet. Cue eye rolling and comments from the catering industry, so I'm sorry but 9 is 9. Today it's a 1...

First time visit to this great cafe in Southampton. All dishes are vegan and many are gluten free. I had the 'meaty' burger with fries and a peanut butter cup milkshake. My lunch partner had a mocha and a whole food burger and sweet potato fries and we both really enjoyed our dishes. The portions were generous, so much so that I skipped pudding but took home 2 portions of their special that day, seitan Irish stew with sourdough rolls, which was amazing. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, there is plenty of seating upstairs and down and you are requested to find your table before you order and it is brought to your table when ready. The prices are very fair and whether you are vegan or not, I would highly recommend a visit to this funky, cool cafe for a decent slap-up lunch.
