The Lounge (Shisha & Cocktails) — Restaurant in Southampton

We are regulars at this place, we've been coming ever since it's opened as we used to like it. Unfortunately, tonight we were treated badly by one of the staff by the name of Sunny. We ordered the chicken mushroom pasta, which was obviously over cooked so we respectfully asked to send it back. Only to be met by a condescending explanation by Sunny of how pastas are cooked. Mind you, this is not the first time we've had pasta, let alone pasta at Cattle. As we didn't like the way this was dealt with, we got up to leave at which point we heard him shouting about it in the kitchen. This was very odd and unprofessional! While trying to pay our bill, which he also handled, we mentioned that we didn't like the way he had handled our request earlier. He then starts to argue with us, asking "how We would have handled it?!", he kept mentioning how We took it personally and no apology was ever offered rather the argument went on. This was again unprofessional and disrespectful with no sense of customer service whatsoever! Had it not been for Mohammad, this would have escalated. We are not sure we will be coming back to Cattle if customer service...

One of a few shisha bars in the center of Southampton. The lounge is an open terrace of the Cattle restaurant. I imagine it could get quite crowded but when we visited, there was no one else. The prices are quite high, with 20 pound minimum spend. The selection of tastes is good, and you can have drinks with a shisha. I don’t always write reviews however I had to for this place. Had such a great time with friends (and have been back with family to). The shisha lounge is superb - great venue and atmosphere.
