I ordered my food through my phone at 8:13 pm on Thursday 29/12/2022. Until 8:45 pm. All I received is a starter.

I asked the staff there why, all I can understand is that “this is my fault, because I ordered starters and mains at the same time. They have to cook starter for me first, after that then they will start to cook my main.”

I’ve orders a 1/2 chicken and chicken liver as my main. They told me that they will only bring two mains together to me, even one of the mains was cooked. So I had to wait there watching my friends having their 1/2 chicken, and wait for my two meals all cooked.

This just doesn’t make sense. They’d rather let their customers sit there and wait for half an hour than letting them have something to eat first. Especially, we came as a group of three, all I can do during that time was watching my friends eat. Didn’t mention that we have things planned at 9:30, which gave me no time to finish my food.

At the end, I’ve been told by one of guys that I still need to wait for extra 10 mins or more for my food, and I asked them to refund my food. They told me “alright, we just gonna throw all your food to the bin, and they will all be wasted”. What a move! Try to do a guilt trip on your customer after they’re waiting for their food for 40 mins. The staff wasn’t apologetic at all, all he tried to do is telling me that it’s the way I did it made my food come late, it’s not their fault. “Wagamama is doing the same thing” as I quote from the guy who’s in charge. Typical strategy, try to let the customer take the blame.

Not pleased about this. Will never visit that...

Really wasn't impressed with my visit recently to this Nando's location. I've been around 3 to 4 times to Nando's UK in the past year, and visited this location for the first time. I found that it was very busy, nevertheless the menu was clearly displayed at the front door.

We were greeted and seated, and our ordering options were clearly explained to us. We attempted to use the QR code at the table and for us, it didn't work. Ordering at the bar, we then awaited our food. The service was fairly slow, however when the food arrived it was beautifully presented however my 'The Great Imitator' burger, was stone cold. I'm not sure if potentially they cooked it along with other products which cook more quickly etc; nevertheless, it was cold. I ate my sides which actually were hot and tasty, and my partner enjoyed her meal. After we'd both finished (my burger I didn't eat), someone came to the table to check on us and I explained the burger was cold. They didn't seem very interested, but replaced it. It then arrived and was hot this time.

Upon going to order desserts, the option we wanted 'Bottomless Frozen Yogurt' on the menu, we were told was unavailable. We therefore didn't order a dessert. Unfortunately the visit to this Nando's was a disappointing one, owing to the poor value for money in my opinion, small portion size and the friendliness of the staff was not impressive. Being a lunchtime it was busy but a very friendly member of staff told us it would be approx a 15-20 mins wait for a table which we accepted & she took a name. Tables became available fairly quickly & it was well within the 15 mins when we were seated.

The ordering system is super easy, you can either go up & place your order at the counter or use the QR code on the table, I chose the latter. The menu it brings up on your phone is easy to navigate & easy to order. We chose the bottomless drink option & glasses were brought to the table within a couple of mins of my order going through.

Food arrived very quickly, all hot & fresh & tasting amazing.

All in all I was really impressed, all members of staff I encountered were super friendly & had a smile, the actual restaurant was scrupulously clean, the condiments section was well stocked & was easy to find what sauces you want.

When we couldn't finish the extra wings ordered I asked if we could have a takeaway box for the wings, that was brought immediately & with a paper bag to carry it in.

The service & food here are fantastic & considering how busy it was...every table taken...it was maintained well & kept clean. Was definitely worth the initial wait to...
