Pepe's — Restaurant in Southampton

I placed order. After waiting 30mins phone to check is order going to be sent. What told has left and i will get in 6-7 mins again after not receive my order 15min later i called back was told the order is made and has just left the store. And i will get in 20mins i explained i had been called before and was told already left and i will get in 6-7 mins and now told its sent, at this point i was quite upset how hard is it to inform me the status of my order. I asked how do i cancel my order i was directed to the app. I then asked why will the order take 20min as this time of night with no traffic how is this possible she then explained my order is 2nd one so i will have to wait longer. I accepted and 30 mins later called to food out were is my order the same lady said she cancelled my order, when i asked her why she explained i asked her to cancel however this is untrue. I went ok to explain i asked her how i do she told me to go to app so i chose not to do this and why is my order canceled. She went on to saying they had no drivers so she cancel it. I then said my order were with driver so do you have a driver or not coz it cant be with a driver without having drivers, i ask the lady why i was being tied to. In which case she told me she not lying 🤥 i will not recommend this place of food wont get your food and wont tell the truth i told here in the call i was going to place a review about my service today hoping she would offer my order or a gesture of good will about a situation she cant control if any. However when i asked her are you going to do anything about this she replied no. The food is always been good and best. It's difficult to find an Asian cuisine with such a b r illanat taste and good quality. The staff are always friendly dly and they server the best and very quick on their services including the hot cooked food with perfectly packed delivery bag and if in case of dine in they serve with a black tray and some seivert and tissues for Excellent presentation they also make the soul filled with joy as they fill the stomach with the quantity of the food they provide.. There are various vegetarian options also available and good to have a panner dish. They cook food separately not to mix the vegan and non vegan product at the same fryers. They cook the chips or fries very well upto the golden yellow color. Incase of spicy fries they used good spicy mix masala to produce better taste and quality. They also have lots of other side meals and different snack options I loved their chicken rice, lamb burgers and chicken wings. The fired chicken is always been crisp and good to taste with no bad soggy appearances. They always look amazing. Not to try is their burrito rolls. They have a good space to dine in around 30 persons can fit easily. Parking is not available at free of cost. It's at the center point of Portswood shopping center. Overall satisfaction level is really reasonable and amazing for their food and experience eventhough their pricing is bit affordable. Rude staff! They Burnt my food in revenge!

Whilst ordering food member of staff on the till kept rushing to take the order for no reason as there was no one else in the establishment to serve. I requested for the order to be read back to check if it was correct but he ignored the first request, he was asked a second time to which he replied, it will be on the recipient, I didn't want to make a fuss thus I remained silent.

After paying and reviewing the receipt I noticed the order was incorrect, I spoke to the same person, he started arguing then walked away when he knew he was wrong, he began bad mouthing in another language. Unfortunately for him I knew what he was saying! I couldn't believe his reaction and told him if you can't be bothered to serve customers politely you shouldn't be working in customer service, another staff member intervened corrected the mistakes without making fuss, sadly that person also made a comment when I sat down, thinking I wouldn't hear.

Insult to injury went home to find one burger was incorrect flavour, but this wasn't the main issue, the burgers were burnt! Had the throw all the burgers away as it was like eating charcoal. The remaining order was fine, its a shame they had the inact their revenge by ruining our iftar.

It's not the first time I have encountered rude staff at this establishment. I stopped going previously, family member what to give them another chance, but they lived up to...
