Sammy's Cafe — Restaurant in Southampton

this was my first time trying this cafe despite walking past nearly every day. i will start this review off by saying that it has truly been an amazing experience and i will definitely be coming back. the customer service was incredible, we were seen within 4 minutes of sitting down and our server (Loretta) was very patient and a wonderful server. the food came out no longer than 10 minutes after we were seen. speaking of the food, it was the most outstanding breakfast i have had that can remember for a very long time. the prices were brilliant for the amount of food. my best friend and i split the “larger house” and it was more than plenty for only about £12. everything was PERFECTLY cooked to our standards (shout out to the bacon 10/10). overall i have absolutely nothing negative to say about this place and i would recommend it to anyone and everyone. P.s- there is also an accessible ramp as well as a very clean bathroom with a handy low sink for youngers. it smells fresh and it’s honestly just a really nice bathroom. the final thing that i will say in this very long review is that there is not much parking in the area (which was fine for me as i walked) but please keep this in mind when travelling by car. there is also a bus stop right outside...

It was just another regular Saturday morning. The sun peeking through the clouds and the birds chirping from nearby trees just outside my window. I step out of my house and get met with a slight spring breeze, my neighbour greeting me with a smile on his face.

As I take my morning stroll I catch a glimpse of a cafe I haven't seen before and decide to take a visit. Nearing closer to the cafe, a wonderful cafe worker by the name Ellen greets me with a warm welcome. As I sat at my table in a pleasantly comfortable chair, I looked around and was pleased with aesthetic of the place and the atmosphere was amazing.

I ordered a light breakfast and was blown away by the quality. The pancake was just absolutely mouth watering and my taste buds cried from pleasure. And the coffee, oh where do I start.... Never in my life have I ever tasted such a delicacy before. The ice was icing. The coffee was coffeeing. And the straw was strawing.

Absolutely amazing place. If you ever want to change up your day and try something new, give this cafe a try. Special shout-out to the Owner and the one and only Ellen the shark tamer grahhhhhh.

Why did the Oreo pancake apply for a job?

The food was absolutely delicious! I tried the Oreo Pancake, and it was packed with flavour and it also looked aesthetically pleasing worth it for your nice Instagram worthy photos. The coffee is top-notch as well, with a rich and smooth taste that perfectly complemented the meal.

What really sets Sammy's Cafe apart is the attention to detail and the passion they put into their food and service. It’s clear that they care about creating a memorable experience for their guests. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food, great coffee, and great vibes!
