Domino's Pizza - Harpenden — Restaurant in St Albans

Avoid, avoid, avoid! Ordered our food online, quoted delivery time was 45 mins. 45 mins came and went, the tracker said the food had been delivered by "Reliable Mohammed". Phoned the shop, they seemed surprised it hadn't arrived, kept saying it was on it's way. Phoned another couple of times to chase it up. Well over an hour later the food finally arrived and yes you've guessed it, it was cold. Phoned the shop to complain - no apology just offered to collect food and give us a refund or collect food and give us a fresh lot. It was already 9.20pm by this time and the thought of waiting another 45 mins to eat was too much so I ended up reheating the pizzas in the oven which defeated the whole point of getting a takeaway. The Manager is extremely aggressive and has zero customer service skills. He couldn't have cared less in fact. I will be taking the matter up with Domino's...

Update: tried again after 11 months. The food was poor. However on complaint I received a full refund, so I have amended the service and score to reflect this. I will try again after a few months as these high throughput takeaways are going to make a mistake now and then.

‐---------- Older review: Two pizzas and 2 sides bought as a special offer. It arrived quickly. It's normally a safe bet, but these pizzas were really dry/overcooked and salty. I think they added some cheese, but it seemed almost absent - I think the worst I've had from Dominios. I've had co-op pizza with more cheese before and less salt. I even checked the order to make sure cheese was included. Sides were good, however. HORRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE Ordered here before and have had horrible service and pizzas we ordered a normal cheese and tomato pizza and they gave us a pizza with just tomato no cheese then we called to make a order for collection when we arrived at the shop they didn’t even make the pizza , decided to give them the benifit of doubt and order again and they were being so disrespectful ending the phone on us then after calling back they didn’t pick up and told us to Wiat and they will call us back whist trying to order a plain cheese pizza and being plain rude telling us to order online instead of on the phone would avoid here...
