Ordered through their own app for pick up. I had to wait a lot to find a person that would know what to do with the code given by their app. And only after staying twice in a long queue, managed to get someone put the code in for the online and paid order processed already through their system. They only started to prepare after they got the code and guess what? when it finally said it's ready for colection, it wasn't really ready and the staff members were joking around and relaxed and talking badly about their customers with remarks like 'what do they want?' when orders were showing as ready for collection. Then a person (that should never work in customer service sorted out my order), with 40 mcnuggets with 8 garlic dips and she only handed out 5. And I showed her the order with 8 dips and she said she can only give 5 and only after another colleague said she should give the order in full she actually THREW the dips in the bag! I wanted to empty the bag in her head in that moment, but decided to be zen! Oh my, these guys should get some serious training on how to treat and speak with people in general, not to mention with customers. Awful experience, with the app, with the branch and staff! Read moreI went to McDonalds today at St Albans City Park for collecting my online order. Having waited for around 20-30 mins, I have not seen my order reflected post collection. Later when I spoke to Manager Mr.Emanuel King he instantly checked and realised my order somehow got cancelled. He later apologised and taken order again and also complimented the delay with an extra fries. Point I want to make here is not about the additional compliment but the customer satisfaction realising what has happened. Amazing work by Mr. Emanuel.
In fact, during whole of this waiting time, I was watching this manager and he so kind, friendly and humble in speaking to customers there. It was one of busiest afternoons and he was so patient enough to greet everyone and check whether everything is okay. I felt such a humble people like Mr. Emanuel are needed for any company to have as a manager. I wanted to takeout my time in writing this so that "Hard Work" and "Great Work" done by such individuals needs a Big Shout-out and also to attention of Mc Donalds Senior Management.

Read moreLiterally the worst McDonald's, especially for delivery. Every time our order is wrong. Every single time. We usually get a partial refund from Uber but we shouldn't have to claim every time. Today was a free apple pie that says discard at 16:55. Tell me why I got it at 17:30. They gave me 3/4 of an iced coffee, no lie. It didn't spill...they sent it partially filled, but you better believe it was FULL of ice. But to be fair, on this occasion, our extra chees was actually included this time. This has been an issue for years but it's the only McDonald's anywhere near us. We've actually walked products to the McDonald's to exchange before when they've so terribly messed up, only to be met with attitude as if we slopped the ketchup all over the burger that says "no ketchup". Or when they completely miss out items in the bag.
And lord help you if you go to collect, you'll be waiting an hour for a cheeseburger. By far the worst McDonald's I've been to, and I've been to some dingy McDonald's.
