Fika — Restaurant in St Helens

My wife and I where looking for somewhere to eat and came across Fika's. When we first walked in it looked tiny, but its actually much bigger than we thought. We had our 2 year old with us aswell and had no issues getting a table.

The staff where unbelievably nice and super friendly. We even got talking to them about an up-coming wedding for someone who works there.

The food was fantastic. The quality was fantastic. And the place itself is really welcoming.

We absoluty will go back when we have some spare time.

Parking can be an issue because of location, however I won't hold that against them because there's very little they could do about it.

Super friendly and accommodating staff and a very clean, cosy and surprisingly spacious interior. I would've liked the service to be quicker, but it wasn't bad.

The vegetable Soup of the Day with a Cheese & Beetroot Toastie on brown bread was beautiful. The soup was thick and smooth and the toastie hit the spot. Very satisfying food.

The Decaf Tea came with a chipped spout on the teapot, but still poured perfectly. A good amount of tea too.

The Victoria Sponge Cake was delectable. Triple layered fluffy and moist sponge with thick whipped cream and chunky strawberry conserve as filling.

Came for my mum's 70th for afternoon tea. We'd booked in advance as they need time to prepare and we had two people with gluten intolerance too. We were each presented with a box containing 6 sandwiches, a scone and selection of cakes, a pot of fruit; grapes and berries, and a pot of white and caramel chocolate buttons.
