Rocket — Restaurant in St Helens

This is my local pub and over the past few years it's struggled but last year it under went a massive refurbishment along with a change in management....and now it looks stunning! The atmosphere is warm and friendly again, great selection of drinks and last week they've started doing Sunday roasts again! They have live music on from time to time, plenty of tvs to catch the match and the staff are chatty! The loo's have also had a much needed overhaul too! They have a massive car park and a great beer garden...

I came here again today...

Paula has the place looking great.. very popular with locals with a friendly atmosphere

The outside bar is a great addition, perfect for the the warmer days.

Plenty of outside seating and covered patio makes The Rocket a perfect retreat to enjoy some fun times during them hot summer days.

Like all punch pubs the Rocket is Dog friendly and has plenty of free carparking.

Darts, a pool table and live sports also...

Fantastic newly refurbished pub. A good drinking pub with food coming soon. Only lost a star because it doesn't have cask ales which is a shame. Also, wheelchair access is from the car park only which is a shame. It wouldn't have cost much to supply and fit a ramp at the front door. Perhaps this is something the owners will consider...
