My Girlfriend took me here for afternoon tea. First time either of us had been. Everything about the experience was brilliant, the tea room itself has so much memorabilia. The staff ( I think Sandra & Nyree) were very friendly and welcoming, we had a pot of tea immediately we sat down, while our afternoon tea was being freshly made. The food was excellent, the sandwiches, quiche,pork pie,sausage rolls, and some amazing potato salad and beautiful scones to finish 😋. The menu contains simple British cafe fare, with filled oatcakes, quiche and salad, baked potatoes, sandwiches etc all fairly priced. Our food was freshly made and quickly devoured. A wide range of homemade cakes offered the perfect end to a great meal, all in retro surroundings. The only minor niggle is that the cafe is next to an overhead door that periodically gets opened, bringing in the cold. Read moreMy daughter booked Barbara Bella caravan for a surprise treat for myself, a friend and herself for my birthday, My daughter had just arrived back from Millan so it was great to be together The 3 of us had the most adorable cream tea, everything was so fresh and such a choice, nothing was to much trouble for Sandra and her husband, we weren't rushed in any way and Sandra was a joy especially when she showed us the picture of the banana birthday candle.
