Crown and Anchor Stone — Restaurant in Stafford

The food was good, I would recommend the soup of the day. The staff are friendly and ensure you are enjoying your meal and have everything you need frequently. The atmoshere is relaxed and the music selection was brilliant.

The pub also doubles up as a bar on some nights, where they remove a lot of the furnishings, add in a DJ and the atmoshere completly changes from a relaxed pub to a lively bar.

I would definitly go back. The prices are reasonable, the staff are great and the food...

We went approx 8PM, Beer ok! Staff ok! Bouncers…horrendous, barely had anything to drink and when I came to leave, the bouncer at the front door (considering I was sat at the front) said ‘can you leave through the back please’ a long and not easily negotiated route, a route from which I also got spat on as I left and when I found the exit, it was locked…WTF! Then I found out my companions had managed to exit the same way I had originally...
