Came in for breakfast on a recommendation and so disappointed !!!! My partner had a full breakfast which when it came they had forgot the sausages, the bacon was hardly cooked the toast was hardly toast more bread and butter !!!! I had the American pancakes which if I wasn't so hungry I wouldn't have eaten it, it was obviously shop bought pancakes that had been warmed up and the scrambled egg was the worst I have ever eaten !!! It doesn't take alot to cook scrambled egg but it had no taste and it was overcooked that much ypu could slice it like a cake !!! Our golden retriever has scrambled egg for his breakfast and even he turned his nose up at it !!!! Worst breakfast we have ever had and won't be returning !!!! But the staff were polite and it is a nice place but if you can't get a simple thing like scrambled egg right it doesn't want to make you...

Popped in for a quick bite and a drink after a pleasant walk along the canal.

It was reasonably busy, but we still managed to find a table. Not many menus dotted about, but I managed to find one and also looked it up online. Ordered food and drinks at the bar as no table service is provided. I have not got a problem with this as it makes for a relaxed approach.

The food was good, the service was basic but pleasant, and the drink was as expected from a brewery pub.

I was very happy with my club sandwich, and you can see from the image that it's a good portion size. The condiments are also very good. My wife had the chorizo flatbread, and again said this was good.

We intended to have a cake but overheard the next table saying the cake was not very nice so didn't bother.

Overall, I am happy with our choice and would be happy to call again...

I have always enjoyed my experience and food at The Bod but was disappointed by the service I received today . When I placed my order at the bar I was greeted by a young girl who was trying to take my order plus speak to another member of staff at the same time!! Needless to say she got our order completely wrong . The drinks order was incorrect plus the food order . I ordered two vegetarian breakfasts and was given one vegetarian plus a non vegetarian . I accepted this as I was hungry and couldn’t wait for another one to be prepared . No offer of an apology, just ‘oh is this ok’. I had to ask for the drink which was missing from my order . Just disappointed by her lack of ‘couldn’t care attitude ‘ . Shame really ad I do enjoy the...

Have visited bod a few times now and the food has always been cooked to a high standard. What I did find a little disappointing was that we felt rushed on our last visit. A lazy Sunday breakfast turned into a rushed clear the table experience. My husband lifted his tea cup to take a sip and his saucer was picked up and looked ready to be whisked away. I asked for the waitress to leave us a saucer at least. I enjoyed my pancake stack with added bacon and maple sauce, it was presented well and tasty delicious. Hubby had eggs benedict which was served with bacon instead of ham that was lush. Overall a vibrant place which is becoming a favourite if they could only sort out their waiting staff to be more patient.

Came here for brunch after having a bad experience elsewhere. Ordered the full bod breakfast with poached eggs and a small bod breakfast with scrambled eggs. Also, an additional portion of black pudding and an extra plate for my daughter. Drinks wise, we had a strawberry milkshake and a large latte. Drinks arrived promptly, and with drink envy, the waitress explained she could do any flavour of milkshake to my partner, so he ordered a honeycomb one. Food arrived piping hot, good quality and eggs were perfectly cooked. The table was a bit wobbly, but a lovely server fixed it for us when we mentioned it. Staff were super friendly, and as a family, it's nice to dine in pleasant surroundings.
