KFC Stafford - Hough Retail Park — Restaurant in Stafford

This Branch of KFC is the worst one we have even been too. Unfortunately it is our local branch and our nearest other than this is 10-15 miles away. Every time we decide to go here, something is wrong. Today's fiasco started when we ordered.. The child (the whole place is run by kids!) that took our order was as unfriendly and bored as ever, when we asked to change my fries for mash, she said she couldn't do it on the till so she would ask someone once the order had gone through. After another 10mins waiting to get to the payment window we asked the girl to check in the bag that the fries had been swapped for mash... Shock! They had not. She went off chuntering and came back saying it will be a 10min wait for mash!? Which I can't understand as its usually just shoved in a microwave for 2mins. Anyway, we asked what would happen to the other food while we waited? No response. The girl that took the order came over and chatted with the other girl and with attitude said "I did say I would have to check" when I told her I didn't like her attitude she walked away. No one seems to know what they are doing. Everything is a big ask, the food is never what you asked for. Always something missing or cold. When we asked for a manager it was clear that he also had a chip on his shoulder and when we checked about the till he said.. "it plays up and u can't always change things" more like they can't be bothered to do something different with an order. The 'manager' dropped the mash in the bag and said "there's ya mash" and made it quite obvious than any of our issues would not be dealt with. The branch itself, indoors we do not go in as it's like walking into a dustbin. The tables are rarely cleaned. The floor is never swept, the queues are always long and slow moving. Every time we used to go in there was always people complaining or giving food back. How this place is still open is a mystery! Avoid if you can and go to Cannock...

I arrived at kfc at approximately 9:45 form Alton towers. The bins were overflowing and there was rubbish on the floor . I walked in and waited at the counter for 5 minutes and i had to ask to be severed :( after this I waited over 20 minutes for my food and other customers where angry about the slow service and that they had run out of gravy, mash and drumsticks. A group of teenagers had waited 20 minutes for 2 fruit shoots and a small popcorn chicken. With was pathetic. there was only about 10 people in the store and the majority where eating. People complained about the lack of food that they stocked and that because the food was sitting on the heater it was dry . At about 15 after ordering I asked for a refund to which the lady on the front said no . My pearents had to drive back to Walsall and were starving and just wanted a drink. When I asked how long it’s going to be she threw the chips in the bag making them empty out on the bottom if the bag and the bag was over full with food . I asked for a cup holder and she said wait . I found this rude as she could tell I was struggling to carry the food that she should have separated into two smaller bags the. About a minute later came form the back and gave me the cup holder . When we got to the car people that where before me where still waiting for food and had been standing at the side of the counter for at least half an hour . Also I had no straw for my Pepsi making me have to run back to get one . Don’t go to this kfc and if you can if you are coming though at late night to get to Stafford please use the Stafford branch or McDonalds as the customer service is way way...

If I could have scored. 0 star I would have. Called there Sunday around 6ish and ordered the 8 piece boneless box that should have included 8 pieces of chicken, 4 fries popcorn chicken bottle of pop and dips, plus 2 sides, 1 coleslaw and 1 beans. When we got it home and went to dish up we had 6 pieces of chicken, don’t know how many chips because they had all fallen out into the bag, a lot of the chips were un edible as they had black marks on lots of them that indicated the chips had seen better days.We had a third of a tub of beans that were dry on top and looked like they were left over from someone’s meal, no dips, and to top it off no receipt in the bag. I tried ringing them but got diverted to an extension number that no one answered. I emailed customer service and they didn’t have the decency to get in touch with me. I really felt like going back and chucking the whole lot over the counter. This is not the first time I’ve had a bad meal there but I gave the benefit of the doubt and it was a big mistake. My opinion is AVOID AVOID AVOID absolutely disgraceful. Should anyone from KFC feel like contacting me please do. I WONT...
