Disappointed. We have been regular customers of this curry house for some time but unfortunately, after this evenings meal, we will be using a different restaurant from now on. The food here is usually fabulous but like any restaurant, the quality / reasons for favouring that place is not necessarily always consistent (or at least, in your opinion) however, you make allowances for the little one off’s (missing items, delays in service / delivery, a slight - temporary change to a dish - especially if you favour a certain dish etc) but tonight’s meal has been absolutely dreadful. We were really looking forward to the food despite it taking nearly an hour and half to arrive which was later than they had advised but unfortunately, it really was not worth the wait. The curries were sloppy and congealed. The chicken was dry and awfully gristly, the rice was hard!🤢 and the chips were over cooked and stale. The only items that were satisfactory (at best) were the crackers and the side dips. I’m genuinely shocked how bad the meals were and how they made it out the restaurant! Eating out / getting a take away is a treat, especially with the cost of living increasing but tonight’s food couldn’t have been any further from a ‘treat’. Shame.
