We found this restaurant by chance after coming to Alton Towers and getting sick of the food on-site and we were so glad we did. It was about a 10 minute drive from the theme park and had free parking right outside. This restaurant felt really authentic with a lovely cosy vibe, we said it felt like we were eating at someone's house (in a good way!). The food was incredible and really reasonably priced. Our favourites were the charcuterie platter, truffle chicken pasta and the pizza. The bread and olives were also amazing as was the homemade garlic dip. The staff were all lovely too which is an added bonus! It's BYOB with an off license just down the road so worth picking some drinks up on the way if you would like any. It's small and clearly popular with locals, so you would need to book in advance which you can do easily via the website. We visit AT every year and will 100% be returning to this restaurant next time we come. A new favourite, and as a Londoner it was really refreshing to find somewhere to get proper Italian food which is affordable and delicious, and to feel like you are supporting a local business that's really deserving of your custom (much better than spending even more money at Alton Towers!)

Found this pizzeria on maps, while looking for somewhere to have tea after a Sunday at Alton Towers. Only 15 mins from the park, so booked a table for our family of 4 for 7pm, which we just made by the time we'd got on the last ride 😀. Friendly welcome on arrival and seated at our table in this quaint small restaurant. We ordered 3 pizzas and a lasagne which came after about 30 mins. Really nice authentic food and good value. If you're heading home after a day at Alton, I recommend La Pietra, not too far from the park, which means you're not eating too late, with the kids. Also the ability to book a table means you know you've got somewhere to sit down and eat rather than a takeaway.

So many good reviews I couldn’t resist trying this little pizza spot when in Cheadle for work. Let me tell you, the dough for the base is absolutely perfect. I’m fussy about good pizza and the quality of the base was up there with the best pizza joints in the big cities and chains like Rudy’s and Franco Manca. Lovely folk running the place, too. It was quiet for a midweek dine-in (several takeaways happening, glad to see) but this place deserves to be bustling. A proper little hidden gem.

Found this wonderful restaurant on the WWW when visiting the local area. Didn’t fancy the usual big brand USA pizza options in the area and loved the sound of this restaurant and the delicious sounding menu.

We were not disappointed and were greeted in a friendly, warm and welcoming way from the moment we entered. We ordered our food to takeaway, which was ready in 15 minutes. We drove to our accommodation which took 10 minutes, time to eagerly anticipate tucking in to the food which was filling the car with the most delicious aroma.

Once back at our lodge we were able to tuck into the eagerly anticipated pizzas and frittatina. Both items were truly delicious, with wonderful ingredient, and were still piping hot after the drive.

Sorry for rambling on but just wanted to make sure this wonderful restaurant and food was recognised.

Wonderful restaurant, chef and proprietors and...

Reserved a table 4 days in advance for 7pm for 3 people. Arrived 10 minutes early, the restaurant was quiet with two other tables occupied. The waitress showed us to the table and came back to take our order a few minutes later. She said they had only two pizzas left! As we all wanted pizza, one of us had to order something else. The crunch came when we tried to order drinks, and found they didn't have a licence.. After a few minutes, we decided cancel our order and leave. I don't like to leave a poor review as the place is probably a good restaurant most of the time. But it is a pizza restaurant, and I wouldn't expect it to run out of pizzas. It would also have been nice to know they didn't have a licence and that we could have brought our own wine and beer when we...
