The Summerhouse — Restaurant in Staffordshire Moorlands

What a gem. Called today at 1pm after some retail therapy. We were lucky to get a table as the place was very busy. After ordering from the extensive menu the proprietor asked if we would like to move to a larger table to accommodate myself, my wife and 2 year old granddaughter. Very thoughtful! After moving our drinks order was taken . The food quickly followed. The food was good, wholesome and homemade. Delicious! The staff are friendly and were lovely to our granddaughter. A great little cafe situated in Cheadle highstreet. Plenty of seating at the front of the cafe and also in the back. A good variety of choice on the menu and reasonably priced. There is a somewhat charming feel to the cafe, be it the counter with all of the fine china on display, the artwork which decorates the walls and the very friendly and second to none service. Delightful place. Pics showing here on 18 November do not do it justice. It is really pretty inside and with an almost contemporary twist on Dickensian, in external appearance.
