The Crafty Flanker — Restaurant in Staffordshire Moorlands

Every now and then you find a pub that you wish was your local. The Crafty Flanker is not an easy place to find, it’s on the main drag in the centre of town, but hides itself. We’d have walked straight by if someone hadn’t been standing outside welcoming us in. And you do get a welcome. And a wonderful array of beers - I think we worked our way through most of them, all delicious, and brewed by the pub brewery. There’s no TVs, no Muzak, jut good old-fashioned conversation and company. They have rooms beyond the front bar if you want more space, but the atmosphere in the bar was just perfect for me.
