BUILD YOUR OWN PIZZA. WHAT AN ABSOLOUTE JOKE
This isn't the first time they have misheard our order..
We ordered a half and half, I explained in detail in which was fairly easy to understand. Chinese chicken, mixed peppers red onion on a bbq base pizza with only cheese on ONE HALF and not to add cheese on the other side.
About 3 quarters of an hour later, half a Chinese mix came on one side and a plain margarita came the other. I rang back up to explain they got my order wrong and how I do not like cheese, They then explained they misheard and that they will send me a fresh pizza with all my required toppings. (Chinese chicken, mixed peppers, red onion, bbq base no cheese) An hour later I get just a pizza base and bbq sauce on it? Is this some kind of joke? I spend my evening picking the chicken and peppers off the COLD first pizza we recived and putting it on to the heated up bread they call a pizza. Which may I add tasted absolutely foul and I couldn't even enjoy it. Service is an absolute joke. Your better off taking a stroll to asda or tescos. Or better yet, spend an extra £2/£3 and go to cheesepizza or dominoes who ACTUALLY LISTEN to their customers orders.
Will not be using this pathetic excuse of a "take away buisness" ever again. And will be spreading my word of how much of a joke...
Read moreThis review is based strongly on my particular taste in pizza.
I went for the double pepperoni XL pizza with "cheesy crust". The tomato sauce was love/ hate the pepperoni I felt taste odd, somewhat fruity (hopefully not just past its best).
The cheese was a standard low quality pizza cheese, none of that trademark stretch of mozzarella the base itself was good.
The one thing that I really did not like was the "cheesy crust" maybe I have been spoilt by the like of papa johns with their solid stringy mozzarella stuffed crust, what we received was not only quite an insignificant amount of cheesy stuffing but it was also not stringy at all and was almost like a cheese paste that tasted like cheap macaroni sauce. Not good for the hefty £3.00 Premium, overall a poor pizza experience.
To help those reading decide whether our tastes are similar I rate pizza in descending order as follows. Pizza hut Papa John’s Perfect Pizza Dominoes.
There was nothing wrong with the customer service, however nothing exceptional either (this is 2017 charging 50 pence to use a card should...
Read more1 star is too much, but it won't let me do zero. Pizza took 80 minutes to arrive despite saying it would be 45 minutes. Chased 3 times and on the final call they had the cheek to say "you've only been waiting 70 minutes" like that was acceptable. The pizza was for children and by the time it arrived they were too tired to eat it. Yes they do the large sizes for cheap but the pizza itself is bland and not enough topping... Every pizza looked the same. Will never order...
