I have had some ongoing issues with this restaurant due to the man taking my order. I used to call in all the time, but the man taking orders would take things very personally and become aggressive over nothing. His tone, his attitude toward solving your issues, and then his threats would come. After I realized I would end up upset ordering from them, I decided to start using Just Eat as a result to help me avoid having to communicate verbally with him.Today I made an order via Just Eat, but a mistake was made and instead of selecting delivery, the collection button was clicked.I called the restaurant to say that I had a delivery order that hadn't arrived. Instead of the so-called manager/order taker responding kindly, he found my order and then stated that it was for collection and proceeded to yell at me on the phone.I then obviously became upset, as I was confused at this point as to why this had made him angry.Well, I said I would just deliver and pay, but he continues to shout at me. In the end, he puts the phone down on me.I rang multiple times. He answered. I asked about my order, and he told me he had called the police for harassment. I explained that he knows he is wasting police time and I will have him arrested, as I have not been harassing him but calling for my order or money back. At this point, I realize he is behaving pettily. I then porceed to tell him i have this all on recording which i do as as soon as he started yelling i started to record to collect eveidence. I tell him if he does not resolve this issue i will be contacting everyone the ower, just eat and make my reviews. He claimed he is the highest-ranked person for this company and the manager, which I believe to be a lie. He hangs up on me again when I ask to speak with someone else. When i ring back another person is on the other end i explained how rude the man had been and it simply just tooj for him to charge me for deleievry instead i was threatend and screamed at and disrespected. Well, the man says he can send the food, but now I don't trust them with something I am to ingest, so I told them I would just like a refund. The other man puts the phone down on me. At this point, I feel these people lack proper people skills. After all these years of being loyal, I will never order here again. I will take my business elsewhere. I have the recordings. I have started to make my reviews. I will contact everyone regarding this situation to deal with this matter as I am well and truely upset by all of this. I can not knock the food hoever i would be very minful of the people cooking and serving it. The atmosphere is very negative and disrespectful, and they clearly care nothing for the people putting their pockets into their business. I'm utterly in shock....
Read moreMy name is Issie and I am a regular customer to this establishment. I believe that the food is of moderate quality, nothing special, yet still very appealing. The courier also arrives on time if not early, with every order I have previously made. My most recent experience however, went otherwise. My partner ordered doner meat with pita bread, with no other additions stated in the description of this particular item of food. Due to this, he had ordered it, quite obviously assuming it would be plain; no sauce or salad. Once our meal had arrived and we sat down to eat, his food was covered in sauce that we had not asked for, nor was it stated in the description of the item. My partner is a very picky eater, and a naturally very anxious person, so it took him a lot of courage and convincing to get him to call up the restaurant and address the issue. When he called and told the employee dealing with him that there’s clearly a miscommunication between what he actually ordered and what had arrived, the employee began to raise his voice at my partner, telling him that “that’s what we give everyone”, and even acknowledging the fact that it doesn’t state on the website what is actually in the food. This conversation ended with the employee ending the call abruptly, while my partner was mid sentence. Disgruntled and confused, I decided to call the restaurant myself, as my partner is now very upset. After stating who I was and what my call was regarding, the employee became hostile and defensive very quickly. I told him that the issue wasn’t just the miscommunication with the food, but also the way he spoke to my partner, which resulted in him becoming more frustrated. He proceeded to say that it wasn’t his problem, and that he doesn’t care for the way in which he spoke to my partner. This conversation also concluded in him abruptly cutting the call. Overall, I certainly believe at this customer service was abysmal, and I will not be ordering from this establishment again. 0/10 would...
Read moreI can’t believe I’m giving one star to a place I always order from, after my experience and reading the previous comments I realized that others have been through what I been through, I called for an order rather then saying “sorry we don’t take cash only card after hours” the manager (as the he claims) has started swearing and stating that he’s customers are stupid and they give out of date food anyway, so to anyones who gets food poison I would suggest you take legal action. I have phone call evidence that I cannot upload sadly but if you want out of date food and rude customer service to a place who sees there customers as trash then be my guest and order away.
