Blueberries — Restaurant in Stockport

Honestly not one to leave negative reviews as I’m fully away of how damaging they can be. Unfortunately on this occasion I feel It’s totally justified. Never visited here before albeit living local. We walked in no greeting. Stood around for what felt like a long time in front a full cafe but was probably only a matter of minutes. Having never visited here before thought maybe you just take a seat and wait to be served. So we did and still nothing. Went up to the desk to order the food.

The lady serving could do with a few lessons in customer service that’s for sure!! Simply asked for a full breakfast to which she looked at me in disgust and simply said the griddle is turned off now. Totally acceptable as it was 2pm. So I simply asked what other hot food they have on the menu. Her attitude reeled off a couple of other things. Decided on 2x bacon & cheese toasties with some tea. I paid there and then on card and went to my table.

It was brought over again not much positivity or a smile but still we proceeded to eat. Food was ok can’t really criticize that.

I was leaving the cafe when the lady gave me the filthiest look and proceeded to comment “have you paid?” In a very judgemental tone in front of a whole cafe!!!! Needless to say this was highly embarrassing considering I paid on ordering. I most definitely would not recommend anybody to visit here. The attitude of this one lady was foul. Most defiantly , a role with dealing with customers is not for her! Maybe it was just an off day I don’t know but it’s safe to say I won’t ever...

Very sad to be leaving a poor review.Visited here on 29th July 2022,live locally,popped in for two pots of tea. Onpouring my tea i noticed a big chocolate mark on side of cup and rim of cup had marks on ,it really hadnt been washed.My husband took it back to counter,fullof our fresh tea,,We waited for a fresh cup,the original cup was returned with the cold tea minus chocolate mark,but the rim still very marked.My husband wanted to complain again but i refused to allow him to. Ladies in this covid era ,your cups need to be sparkling clean,on this occasion, it wasnt and the sign of a good business ,if they deal with your problem, without any fuss,you so fell...

We ordered small breakfast and a crispy bacon lettuce and tomato sandwich with 2 cans of soft drink. We were over charged: £4 breakfast £3.20 for the sandwich and £1.20 each for cans (extortionate price for a can at a cafe) which would total £9.60 we paid £10.40. 2 small requests were asked, no tomato on the breakfast along with Extra crispy bacon on the sandwich.. Both of which were ignored by the miserable counter assistant! To finish this off, the egg was underdone, mushrooms were under one, and the toast was overdone.. The cafe wasn't even busy?! Thank you for wasting my time and money...
