Canadian Charcoal Pit Great Moor — Restaurant in Stockport

Ordered from here on a whim, used to go here regularly way way back but went through a rough patch where the food declined, but second chances and all that.

The food arrived 20 minutes earlier than expected. The driver was in and out like a bullet, had to call him back for a tip.

The kebab wasn't my style, I prefer a spicier / peppery donner, there were nothing wrong, but the chicken and shish was cooked perfectly, nice and juicy. Over all really good mixed Donner. Little pricey at first glance but the quality of the meat shows.

The 8oz burger meals are served in a large almost shoebox thing, the 8 Oz burger was thick and juicy, with a good texture, wasn't just mashed up meat, was kinda chunky and I'd guess home made or at least hand made. Loads of chips in the box.

The only complaints I have are

1, the online order for the meal deal doesn't give you the option to select the drink type, but a quick phone call or a note added to the app, and it's sorted.

2, a little light on the salad,there were an average/balanced amount for presentation but I like salad. Next time will asked for extra salad, and update accordingly.

Overall definitely order the burger meal again, and wouldn't hesitate to order a chicken or shish kebab, for others who like a milder kebab meat this is the...

Arrived on time (just) with the wrong order, a meat Pizza and cal zone when I had ordered a veggie Pizza and garlic bread. Called up and explained and they told me they'd send me the right order (no apology) and I confirmed everything I had ordered slowly and clearly, 15 minutes later and I still had someone else's meaty order chilling in my living room going cold and the driver came back, I was relieved and happy until I discovered he'd come back with ANOTHER WRONG ORDER! I asked for my money back which I got straight away I feel sorry for the poor driver as it's not his fault, I called up and told them what happened and they said 'it is not the wrong order!' When it obviously was and considering I'd relayed my order twice I was infuriated. I asked for an apology and said we'd leave it at that but never got one. Terrible terrible service and I was so excited to have found a new Pizza place to buy from, never again!! Two hours on I'm starving and angry. It's not even worth the one star, I wish Google would allow me to them ZERO STARS. We ordered our food which came over an hour later and we live 5 minutes away !!!! It came freezing cold so we phoned the place to complain to which they offered to replace the whole order again. An hour after that we rang again to check where the order was as we received a text saying it had been sent out. They began screaming at us down the phone and shouting that they hadn't send anything at all to our address. They were extremely rude and the food was freezing. Would not recommend at all!
