The Strawberry Gardens is a cosy pub located in the centre of Stockport. The carpark is free, but you must register your car registration at the bar. Failure to do this could result in a £100 fine. The pub offers a wide drinks range, including hot drinks. The alcoholic beverages are of usual price, but the soft drinks are rather expensive, especially as they do not even come in pint glasses. There is a quiz on Wednesday evenings. Entry is free, and you also get a free chip butty. As quizzes go, this one is fun and entertaining. There is also a karaoke night on Fridays. Read morePopped in whilst travelling past. Amazing food, friendly service and lovely pub. The beef wrap was INCREDIBLE. Beef so full of flavour and literally melt in the mouth. Gravy was epic and chips so good too. Kids loved the nuggets and fries and other family members had the roasts. Apparently the best roasts they have had in 15yrs. Read moreI am beginning to feel that I must be classed as a semi regular now as the staff know me by Christian name which is great. I find the staff friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. It has a welcoming atmosphere and I feel I can take new friends in. The food is always hot, the chips are the best I have eaten. The menu could be a little more varied.
