Incredibly busy restaurant offering Italian style food. We booked, others were turned away. This place is clearly very popular. The waiting staff are superb. Three young ladies welcomed, recommended and tended to the whole restaurant in a manner so professional that they could have been French. I shared a generous plate of deep fried seafood, asparagus and artichoke... Crunchy batter round quality ingredients, piping hot and a good starter . The mains were not as good. Over cooked risotto with stodgy rice standing up on the plate. Saved by the excellent taste.. blue cheese and pear with slices of crunchy under ripe pair along with some beetroot to garnish... I rescued the fish with some reasonable olive oil, the waitress scooped on some parmesan and with a good twist of black pepper the rice tasted good. But an Italian would not of recognised the dish. Similarly the carbanara sauce came thick with cream and over cooked pasta... But at least the cream was advertised on the menu. Again, an Italian wouldn't recognise this dish, but mum enjoyed it. Although the food lacks authenticity, the staff are wonderful and it is reasonably priced... Bookings are clearly needed as it was full of local people... The chef knows what his customers like... Don't come here expecting al dente rice or pasta, but come for tasty food in a...

Stayed in Slimbridge and there was a leaflet with this as a recommendation. Booked online (very easy) and fortunately for us the restaurant accommodated us at a slightly earlier time (senior moment). Procedures in place for waiting and hand santitizing and tables and chairs were being cleaned before new guests were seated. Staff in protective visors (which did make it slightly difficult to hear, but were necessary). Excellent selection of wines and mains to choose from and the pizzas we had were huge. We had no room for desserts, but again there were a delicious selection to suit most tastes. Great decaf coffee (not all restaurants can boast of this!), so the espresso didn't keep me up all night. The staff were very professional and made us feel welcome and comfortable - a real credit to the manager of the restaurant! If you are in the area, I would recommend you...

This is a restaurant 2 miles from home and I have never visited. Could a really good authentic Italian restaurant survive in Stonehouse. How wrong could I be. Seriously Italian. Great staff and very good food and a good price. Staff could not have been nicer and with two small children this was greatly appreciated. Tuesday night and the restaurant just buzzed . The food showed care and thought with an emphasis on fresh vegetables and home cooking by Italian chefs. We all had fish with generous portions and veg cooked to perfection. The freshly made tomato sauce for the sea food was exemplary. The kitchen is superbly run and a real sense of the food just being cooked for you despite how busy the restaurant was. What a treat the guys who run this restaurant love good food and great service and work very hard to ensure every customer...

Family friendly Italian.very attentive and courteous couple of staff welcomed us.extensive wine list with special gins and mocktails. Good range of starters, sharing platters, mains ,vegetarian options and fish dishes. Prompt and efficient service we both had brushetto with tom's and olives very tasty with balsamic and olive oils. I opted for carbonara with lots of parmesan and bacon.my wife went for a risotto with butternut, pecrino and rocket, good portion size cooked to perfection. Gelatos to follow who doesn't like ice cream!. Tables had good distance between each other, but held a nice warm atmosphere. Great tasting food at a reasonable price ,served well ..Will return when next in the area..

We had a large family gathering La Campagna and we were left pleased by the service. The staff here are very friendly and the food is generally impressive. We booked our food before our visit and the wait time was very short for both mains and dessert. The atmosphere in the restaurant was quite pleasant. Do be aware, however, that it gets very busy in the restaurant, particularly on weekends. When we were leaving, (about 6:30pm) almost all of the tables were full. The tables were quite greasy and the restaurant has limited space, and no car park. The lemon tart did not have much lemon in it. Overall, a pleasant experience. Would recommend.

We're so lucky to have this gem on our doorstep, the team are always welcoming & nothing is ever too much trouble. They cater for parties, families, with attention to detail. The quality of food is very high, reasonably priced considering the quality and with a wide range of choices. Team is very efficient with very little waiting time, whilst also not feeling rushed for the next sitting. The team works really hard, it's a very popular restaurant so always best to book. Fyi, don't be put off by parking, there is on street parking & a good sized public car park not even 5mins away across the road. Most definitely, would highly recommend 👌
