Decent enough boozer... Good ale and cider selection. Lots of traditional pub parifinalia about the gaff. Serves food and has an enormous dining room... Look out for the bloke at the bar who looks like Jim Bowen, I think he could break the world record for swearing 😂😂

Very nice place. Loved the new menu. Had a lovely tuna steak on a sizzler platter with mashed potatoes. Was a bit puzzled by the service who came at least 4 times to confirm my order.

Popped in for a pint and Sunday lunch. Enjoyed Roast Beef (with an excellent horseradish sauce) with all the trimmings for a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend!

Ignore the dreadful reviews. This is the third time we have been here and it has always been excellent. How can people say the food is expensive when you can have 2 mains for £15!! Which were well cooked, quickly served and extremely tasty. The desserts were also delicious, particularly the lovely bread and butter pudding. Highly recommended. Glass of wine, 2 coffees, 2 for £15 and one additional main, diet coke, 2 desserts and came to a total of £52. Super value. All served by Adam who, despite being on his own was efficient and friendly. Visit and see...

First off, would be 4 stars if it weren't for the cost. Went with my family for Sunday lunch. The roast was perfectly acceptable, 2 of us had beef and 1 had pork. The portion sizes were good and the quality was about what you'd expect from a Harvester or Toby Carvery but more expensive. The chocolate tart was a disappointing size and the clotted cream was not great. One kid had the lemon meringue sundae which was big but very sweet. The service was good and polite without being fussy. I wondered why it was so quiet and I think that...

Visited for the first time, for a quick pint, last night. I think that it has got the potential to become a very good 5 star pub. The new tenant, who only took over a few days ago, has plans to improve the pubs chequered history. Although it was fairly quiet this is the first time that I have been asked if I was being served 3 times! If you want to make a impression that is how to do it. And the beer was in excellent condition. If I lived in the area I would most certainly make this pub my local. If you live in Stonehouse...
