Highwayman — Restaurant in Sunderland

It is a lovely little bar in the middle of lambton, nice little local pub & have recently started serving food which is unreal, smash burger & loaded fries & so much more. The bar staff are absolutely lovely cannot fault them. been going there since as far as i can remember as I've lived in lambton all my life. however the current land lord is an angry drunk and likes to throw false accusations out about his regular punters. I generally get on with him but recently for whatever reason he's taken some form of anger & aggression out on me. As I say accusations & basically trying to belittle people. So for me from now I'll not be drinking in this establishment so long as hes in. Lovely, friendly pub. The staff are very outgoing and hospitable and are happy to offer suggestions on other places to visit in the area. The regulars are welcoming and make you feel at home. Ashleigh helped us when we were in a pickle and our phones had died and we were lost.Visiting the area from Scotland but we will stop by again! Charged our phones had a drink and our kids where treated like their own. Thank you all. Fantastic homely little pub if I was local it would be our local.
