Seen this place on a local Facebook group, the food looked lovely so I thought we'd give it a try. I had the Hogfather burger and the Mrs had gammon steak with chips. Both were cooked to perfection and very very tasty. From outside the building itself isn't too pleasing to the eye, but they've obviously done the best job possible with the exterior. The reason I mention that is that you shouldn't let it put you off, it's nice inside, well decorated and clean. The barman that served us was friendly and professional and I'm not sure if it's a family run pub but his service was top notch and he obviously took pride in his job. You could see into the kitchen from the bar which my wife noticed and said was a good sign. It gives you a sense of trust when you can see what's going on in the kitchen and all of what we saw was clean.
