Oasis — Restaurant in Sunderland

Disappointed with the food, upgraded the fish to cod but it was very small and all batter . update Hello, to be honest, no we just finished the meal and left. We had waited almost half an hour for the food to come to us, which wasn't a problem, we had a drink and were enjoying the conversation. when the waitress fetch the order the first thing we noticed was there were no peas on the plates, when we asked her why, she asked us if we had ordered them (Yes I wouldn't have been asked otherwise) so our order was whisked away to replace the missing item,(garden peas) then when I cut into the fish, I struggle to find it, as it was all batter, the best way to describe it was, if somebody had taken a fish and cut the tail end off, that was the bit I seem to have been given, My friend also comment on her fish, she didn't think it was cod? (I had paid an extra £2 to upgrade the fish) As cod is usually quite a white colour and this was darker, we were wondering if we've been given the wrong order to be honest. Quite honestly I love coming here and I usually have a great time and service but every time there is a certain team member (man, with long hair and wears green trainers) he greets me with rudeness and a dismissive tone every time he’s on shift. I always read my order from my phone so nothing goes wrong and I read any changes to be made. I said I would like X from the menu and can I take X away please, he then goes in a very dismissive manner ‘one minute’ and then goes mhmm as if to continue then I do and he went ‘wait’ in the same tone again. I then pay and receive the food and he’s charged me for a shared plate of nachos (they were very nice) when I specifically asked for the starter one (but not the point) and the hot chocolate I had was vile made by him.

Been going to oasis pub in the galleries for a while now where service and food was great, but the last twice including today we were really disappointed. The food was at a very low standard, half the items were missing off the plate to what is described on the menu, waited at the bar a while to place order as one girl with long brunette hair was taking orders, serving drinks, and taking food to the tables while a other girl and male were standing talking not helping serve at all. We heard another table complain about the food and gif there money back and another had to have there drinks replaced as the coke was flat.
