Bel Vedere Ristorante Italiano — Restaurant in Surrey Heath

My family & I decided to try this Italian as a birthday meal out. We had never been here before. There were some positives & some negatives about this place. The positives are that the staff are really friendly & attentive, I wouldn’t say that it’s overpriced, the parking is ideal & most of the food we ordered was really tasty, I was a little disappointed with my arrabiata but I think I just ordered the wrong thing as everything was lovely. As for the negatives, the chairs were really hard & uncomfortable, the restaurant was a bit bland & didn’t really have much atmosphere to it, we stated that it was an occasion but no one really paid any attention to it so I don’t really know why they even have that option on the booking system. Before in restaurants we have been too, when it’s a special occasion you are made to feel special but everywhere’s different so! A lovely spot for a romantic meal or dinner with friends. A refreshingly small menu and delicious specials.. Some of the best calamari I've ever had, so light and fresh. The mushroom tortellini was also a highlight which we had as a starter (but I wish I'd had it as Main) Try the Italian Shiraz by the glass.. excellent choice by the House. Finished with authentic Italian desserts and a smooth espresso macchiato Owners were lovely, felt they really cared about the experience we had. Very quiet when arriving at 6.45pm on a Friday, but by the time we left at 8pm they were full! Will definitely come back, worth the trip...

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful Italian restaurant in the village, and it was a truly lovely experience. We decided to share our main courses to sample more of the menu, and we were so glad we did. The pasta was cooked al dente, with a delicious sauce, and the beef fillet was incredibly tender and flavorful – both were executed perfectly. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional level of service. You can clearly feel the dedication and care that comes with a family-run business; we were made to feel so welcome.
