As a person who eats mostly plant based, I was amazed that you had quite a few options for me while my husband was enjoying his birthday steak. The vegan tart was tasty and amazing, just slightly burnt at the bottom, but not a big deal. Good size portion with plenty of different vegetables and great presentation! The service was superb - we didn't catch the name of the lovely, friendly waitress, but she was welcoming, helpful, chatty and a joy to be around! My husband had the T-bone steak, I just asked him what he thought and he has some constructive feedback. His comments were that for such a big steak the portion of sauce should be bigger - he had to order an extra portion of sauce and pay for it on top. In his opinion a 6oz steak and a big 20oz steak should not come with the same amount of sauce, but in proportion. He was a bit puzzled by the cooked onions on the side and said they were neither bad nor great. He was also puzzled by the big wedge of lettuce on the side and wondered if there was any reason why it is served like this? He also commented that the steak needed a lot of extra seasoning, he suggested that perhaps can come with a bit more flavour from the kitchen? We came for a romantic meal for two expecting a great meal and great service but were sadly let down on a few things. We ran 10 minutes late for our table and received a call to check we were still coming which was great but were then told that the grill shuts off at 9:15 so we need to order straight away which was really not what we were expecting and felt pressured as it seemed like they were all waiting to go home and we were holding them there. After sitting down we quickly chose our meal which was the £100 signature steak experience, which was absolutely gorgeous. The only fault with the meal was how small the bernaise sauce was compared to the size of the peppercorn sauce and the waitresses excuse that it’s the size of the packet it comes in. Which sounded like utter rubbish just like the timer on the grill excuse. We felt lied to a few times and also the waitress was moody and didn’t really want to get the ketchup or napkins we asked for and forcibly placed them in front of my girlfriend. We felt rushed which ruined our expected romantic meal for two. We would love to return but are unlikely to unless our experience was ensured to be much improved. The food was very good, but the customer service was disappointing. Three of us—Asian women—dined here for the first time for a business meeting, and unfortunately, we did not receive the level of service we expected. One of the waitresses, Roxy, provided especially poor service.

We ordered three drinks and a large bottle of water to start. The drinks took 15 minutes to arrive, and the water didn’t come until 40 minutes later. We ended up waiting almost an hour for our food.

We didn’t feel warmly welcomed by Roxy at all. When I asked another waiter about the water we had been waiting for, he went to check with Roxy. She then came to our table and acted as if we had never ordered it. She didn’t apologize or take responsibility for forgetting our order. After finally bringing the water, she continued chatting with and serving other tables while completely ignoring us.

It was very disappointing to receive such poor service—especially when the food was genuinely good. We left feeling like we were not treated with the same respect or care as other customers.
