We came for a romantic meal for two expecting a great meal and great service but were sadly let down on a few things. We ran 10 minutes late for our table and received a call to check we were still coming which was great but were then told that the grill shuts off at 9:15 so we need to order straight away which was really not what we were expecting and felt pressured as it seemed like they were all waiting to go home and we were holding them there. After sitting down we quickly chose our meal which was the £100 signature steak experience, which was absolutely gorgeous. The only fault with the meal was how small the bernaise sauce was compared to the size of the peppercorn sauce and the waitresses excuse that it’s the size of the packet it comes in. Which sounded like utter rubbish just like the timer on the grill excuse. We felt lied to a few times and also the waitress was moody and didn’t really want to get the ketchup or napkins we asked for and forcibly placed them in front of my girlfriend. We felt rushed which ruined our expected romantic meal for two. We would love to return but are unlikely to unless our experience was ensured to be much improved. The food and setting was wonderful sadly the things mentioned ruined the whole experience for us.
