🌟 Unforgettable Dining Experience at Abbaraccio 🌟

Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at Abbaraccio, and the experience was nothing short of spectacular, thanks to our wonderful server, Marco.

From the moment we walked in, Marco's warm welcome and genuine smile set the tone for a memorable evening. His extensive knowledge of the menu and expert recommendations made our choices effortless. Marco's passion for Italian cuisine shone through as he described each dish with a level of detail that had our mouths watering even before we tasted a bite.

We started with the garlic bread and chicken liver pate, which Marco assured us was a must-try – and he was absolutely right. For our main course, Marco suggested the fillet dolcelate and the risotto pollo. His wine pairing was spot on as well.

What truly set Marco apart was his attentiveness and charm. He managed to be both professional and personable, making us feel like the most important guests in the restaurant. Whether it was ensuring our glasses were never empty or sharing delightful stories about the origins of certain dishes, Marco's service was impeccable.

In a world where great service is hard to find, Marco at Abbaraccio is a shining example of hospitality at its finest. We will definitely be back, and we will certainly be asking for Marco again. Bravo to Abbaraccio for having such a gem...

We visited here for the first time yesterday. They say first impressions count for a lot, safe to say we will not be visiting again. My partner called to book a table for 2 on Tuesday 05/08/24 for Wednesday 06/08/24 at 7pm and he spoke to a male. When we got there we had not been booked in. I think the waitress would have been happy for us to walk away but the Manageress moved a few tables around to fit us in. To be fair the Manageress was running everything and did this with a smile, not sure what other staff members were doing. We tried to order drinks whilst waiting for our table. I could see a bottle of pims and as ked for this whilst waiting. The waitress asked if I wanted a double or single. I explained as in a cocktail like at Wimbledon! With lemonade, mint, strawberries, oranges and cucumber. Got looked at blankly. My partner was ready to walk away at this point to be honest. The Manageress asked what the issue was, explained, oh we don't really do that drink but we can. I just ordered another drink out of ease. Food was pleasant but the whole experience just really let everything down. We thanked the Manageress for finding us a table, she said she knew who it was that hadn't booked us in and would be speaking to him on Friday! Seemed happy to throw him...

Can't fault the food at Abbraccios it is excellent but I would suggest that you check your bill very carefully .Having been here a few times with friends and family , today Marco , in front of my friends informed me that a meal had been missed from my bill at a visit 2 weeks before .I was surprised and embarrassed that he raised this in such a manner as I had paid in full.. Upon finishing our meal we found we had been charged for an extra starter Marco Returned with a new bill stating "I have added the extra meal " On returning home I have checked my bank statement and added each item from the menu online. The amount I paid for four starters four mains & 4 drinks was correct. The mistake was their's not mine The way in which Marco spoke to me was appalling. I left in tears never to return . Check your bills carefully !!! I didn't owe him anything and he made me feel like a thief in front of a restaurant...

This was the first time my husband and I had gone to Abbraccio. It was a Friday lunch time. Soon as we walked in we were greeted in a very polite manner. The restaurant looked very nice. There was a very chilled atmosphere. All the staff were ever so lovely and very very helpful. As I have ceoliac disease I don't really eat out much. I was so impressed with the gluten free options. There was so much to choose from and the staff were on hand to help too. we had an amazing meat platter for starters and we both went for pizza for our main, mine being gluten free of course. The food is amazing. To finish with we both had a dessert which again was lovely. I cant recommend this place enough. You have to go and try it. It's worth every penny. We will definately be going again.

Fantastic authentic Italian cuisine at a reasonable price, great service and a passion for food and impressing the customer. Very good menu of Italian favourites as well as some more items that show off the Italian pedigree. Fantastic thin crust wood fired pizzas that are also very popular to collect and takeaway. Good choice of wine and beverages with a focus on italian beers, all your favourites are here. Nice atmosphere as the restaurant isn't massive with an open kitchen with the pizza oven on view. Due to the size and popularity I would recommend booking especially if you're a larger party. For me one of the few eateries in the area that deserve a 5 star rating. Keep up the good work!

Highly recommend. Just been for tea, the resturant was very nice inside. My partner had a starter off the specials which was scallops and prawns then TAGLIATELLE CALDO for his main and said it was fantastic. I had the asparagus and goats cheese salad to start and spaghetti bolognaise for my main and was so impressed. Probably one the best spag bols I've ever had and I try it every time we go to a different Italian. Had a bottle of rioja wine which was lovely. Staff were really friendly and professional. Topping up our drinks and making sure everything was good with our meal. Will definitely be going again 10/10 no complaints
