Carrs The Bakers — Restaurant in Tameside

Carr’s provided the pies for our WI Quiz night last night & they were delicious. We had meat & potato & cheese & onion. Right from my very first phone call to make enquiries regarding price the staff have all been friendly & helpful. They offered various methods of collection & as the venue we use has no kitchen facilities at all I chose to have them delivered, hot,, at 7-30pm. Needless to say I spent all day yesterday in a positive tizzy in case they were late, not hot enough or worst case scenario, didn’t turn up at all. Can you imagine the humiliation of a WI function with no food ....!!?? But I shouldn’t have worried, bang on the dot of 7-30 the pies appeared, piping hot & smelling wonderful, we were also provided with plates, plastic cutlery & an enormous jar of red cabbage. So thank you to all at the bakery, I can most heartily recommend...

Great selection at good prices... WHEN YOU CAN GET IT!!

Sorry but they need to realise, they aren't doing people a favour, they are being paid for food. It's like come on. I want to give you money for food. That's the whole thing you do!!

The "we ran out of hot food at 11am" refrain is tiresome. You know for a fact people keep coming in... SO MAKE MORE FOOD!!

People will stop coming to you because you don't have what they want, when they want it. Why expend effort getting there when it's likely they don't have what you want.

Plus the attitude with which it's announced and the shocked look that someone dared ask for sausage and bacon at 12.30pm is just not needed.

If you want rid of customers you're doing a great job.

First time here today ! One of my good friends brought me here ! 10/10 the staff all happy and laughing and chatty ! They sell coffee , cold drinks , range of sandwiches I ordered a large roast beef sandwich and it delivered full of beef with fantastic crunchy salad a bit of salad cream and beautiful boiled egg !
