The 2 stars reflect the staff who do try to make up for the issues and the fact that the chicken is still tasty although the rest of the food isn't always up to scratch. I really don't like leaving negative reviews but I don't think KFC has got itself together at all since their issues running out of foods during their delivery crisis. However, that aside, we regularly use the KFC in Hyde and I'm really not sure why we persevere! Our order has never been 100% correct ever! I'm not even sure it's ever been 75% correct really. Many of the staff treat the customers with exasperation or couldn't care less attitude (although there are some there who don't do this and do try) often requiring apologetic looks from those who do try. This last occassion while waiting at the pick up window I could hear the staff moaning loudly about the customers using a variety of expletives and those using incredibly loud expletives at their exasperation with whatever the problems they were encountering in the kitchen were. I know I was there later on nearing closing time on this last occasion (45 mins to go) but surely the service at that time should be the same as that at any time? Loud expletives aside one staff member treated me incredibly dismissively while the other looked apologetic and nervously at me during the chorus of expletives. When we got home we found we hadn't been given the sugar free drink (asked for for the diabetic in our family), no dips for our boneless banquet (should be standard with the meal so I don't mean extra requested dips), completely wrong sides (gravy instead of coleslaw), cold soggy yet still somehow dry fries and the wrong amount of hot wings ordered. This however was one of the better times! We generally travel further to other KFC establishments that don't make quite as many mistakes since Hyde hasn't ever got an order correct but sometimes circumstances mean we have to use this one or we decide to see if they've improved. But I don't think we've ever had an order for a very long time where everything we request is in stock at that time, or a particular machine isn't working so can't have certain selections, and our order has never been 100% correct from any KFC establishment. Not just Hyde. But Hyde is in our experience the worst of them. I would love for it to improve and then I'll leave a review reflecting that. Or that's what we thought, after waiting for 30mins (20 minutes spent after placing the order) which I spent amusing myself by watching the whole entire work force hand feed the constantly flowing procession of Uber Eats, Deliveroo ect.. Ect.. received the order.. Wrong and incomplete, waited whilst they corrected THEIR mistake, received an apology for the delay (lol) drove the 3/4 mile journey back home to be greated with stone cold meals in there entirety, the chicken was dry as a bone (both fillets and hot wings) and had clearly passed the allotted food warmer time span set out to all franchisee/ branches by KFC UK to try and ensure there is STANDARDISATION across the whole network of outlets. Shocking site.. Shockingly favourable towards the delivery hubs all held together by shocking MANAGEMENT Substandard service and inedible food. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

Read moreI came in Wednesday night 4/6/25 through the drive through. Food was absolutely freezing... the popcorn chicken was like it came out of the fridge it was that cold 🥶
They couldn't care less that I was waiting for the food, i had the kids in the car and they were starving and even they said it was to cold and wanted to wait for us to get home to warm it in the microwave, not what you want when your paying the price i did. Tried calling the store, no answer and I was too annoyed to go back. Staff were just standing around on their phones, I could see a guy through the window just stood there with his foot up on his phone. I expected my wait to result in hot food atleast but it was just shocking. I won't be returning. Such a shame as I've never had any problems coming here, with abit of communication on wait times, it would go along way. Lazy inconsiderate staff... id consider re evaluating your staff or set some basic ground rules.....
