Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Tameside

Terrible. Completely incompetent at processing the orders correctly. Ordered a few weeks ago, received the wrong pizza, missing toppings. I rang to inform them and they said oh we’ll send another. The replacement came 40 minutes later, incorrect again. They only offered ANOTHER replacement, i hardly need 3 XXL pizzas in one night. Ended up eating the lukewarm incorrect pizza and making a complaint. They offered me a free replacement, which i have redeemed, and surprise surprise the order was wrong again. This time, missing sides & other things. Pizza was a bit burnt, and when i rang to ask about the missing sides, a replacement in 50 minutes was offered. I’ve followed up on my complaint with someone who actually seems to care as they don’t apologise or rectify the issues properly. The replacement came missing the dips & in a grease covered box, the cardboard is literally soggy. No apology on the phone, even when i explained. Stick to domino’s...

The pizza is nice but nothing special compared to numerous other pizza places now offering takeout. I've Never had a pizza thats too greasy or soggy but for the prices these places charge I should hope not. I don't know when take out pizza suddenly became the most expensive take out and when I consider what I get its no wonder this is often ONLY eaten as a special occasion. Even with the 50% off, buy one get one free, large for price of medium, free dessert with large, family pizza deals this still cost over 50 quid for 4 people. (Admittedly I enjoy the fact often there is left overs for the cold pizza breakfast the next day). All that said I have to admit that papa John's is very reliable when it comes to getting orders right and always provide good quality tasty pizza. So if I had to spend the 50 quid plus I prefer doing it here than many of the other high Street...

Actually always liked the pizza but the service is getting worse and worse. Ordered online, an hour later still no food despite the “track your order” option showing it as delivered. When I called the store they said it wasn’t even in the oven as they only had 1 driver and wanted to make sure it got to me hot! I asked why the tracking showed it updating every step of the way if this was the case, she blamed the driver. I asked why I didn’t at the very least receive a courtesy call re. a waiting time - she said she called but I didn’t answer! Needless to say I have no missed calls. Obviously short staffing happens but to be openly lied to both over the phone and through someone updating a tracking option is poor customer service.
