Casa Lola — Restaurant in Tandridge

What started as a joyful evening finished with a unpleasant experience. The welcoming was very nice and accommodating to dietary requirements.

Waitress took down our order and stated that the order can take 30+ minutes due to cooking time which is understanding. Food arrived to which was very nice but was not stated that with some same food orders it comes together i.e 2 chicken skewers ordered came as 1 plate setup for 2 not sat next to eachother... one ENTIRE mains was missed off which when told to the waitress said she was not told but remembered that persons starter (mains and starter ordered together) with zero apology offered except putting the order in now and waiting another 30+ minutes while everyone else had finished there meal by that time. Same waitress then avoided all interaction with the table from taking plates away all the way down to the bill.

Once we checked the bill we noticed the oysters was still charged for when they had informed us they had no oysters so we never actually got them... for what was very nice food, the service did not match by any means unfortunately and will be avoiding using this...

2 days ago Gem of a place if you are looking for excellent service & amazing food. my first visit to this place, what a experience... walking in was greeted by Claudia, friendly and smiling, taken us to our table and where we were greeted by Millie & Alexandra, extremely friendly and amazing character. Explained us the special dishes on offer, drinks service was fast, food was freshly made and all the dishes tasted different, and so tasty. I would suggest anyone to visit this restaurant if you have not done promise you will not retreat it. I would like to thank Ana & Beth also. Hi, really enjoyed some lovely good and great atmosphere here with live music. The tapas are served in big portions and there are all the favourites on the menu. I wouldn't fault any of the food we received. We did have to wait ages for our food. I didn't mind that too much as we had entertainment. But it was over an hour. The only other thing to consider is that the restaurant is noisy. It is done up in a traditional Spanish style (tiled throughout) - so it can be very hard to have conversations. I have a couple of friends with tinnitus from their wild youths who just cannot cope. There were a couple of parties on tables near us. If you want to go for food and conversation go mid-week. If you want a more party atmosphere then go at the weekend. It's...
