Come here for a dinner with my children ordered a Korean bowl it states on the menu that the chicken is covered in Korean sauce You then choose weather it’s with chips or rice I chose chips

The dish came With the whole lot covered in sauce the chips all soggy in Korean sauce and I was gutted It was a sloppy mess It was gross, soggy chips(awful)

I told the manger It doesn’t say this on the menu (and it didn’t!!) I asked him nicely to please take my dinner back change the chips for plain chips and keep the chicken just change the chips I was told “ I can’t do that””I won’t do that” I was shocked I told him it’s not on the menu and I can’t take that sauce it’s sending my sensory through the roof, again told he can’t do that he won’t do that and what I’m asking is impossible

I had two choices I didn’t eat or I ordered and paid again!

At this point I’m fuming and telling him I’ll order more chips then so I have had to spend more money and I’m now completely put of my food, My children left to eat alone while I sort the mess and he simply don’t care (this is the manger) this is Thursday the 25th sept at 5:45

Disgusting customer service! How is this man a manger!

He didn’t care how his guest was treated or made to feel At all, you never know what a person is going through and this was just the solving in the cake for me today!

He’s complaint handling was shocking and needs some Serious work! Also Your menus need correcting Shocking...

Having lived in Oxted for 5 years I've frequented this place on many occasion. Sadly I'm not coming to the end of my tether in reation to the quality of the food they're serving. Sometimes it's good but the majority of the time it's bad or just about edible. The staff are friendly and always a pleasure to deal with though usually rushed off their feet bless them. The food dkesn't cost a fortune and I'm not looking for a 5 star experience. Well, tonight I visited and ordered a Large Mixed Grill which is the most expensive item on the menu. After waiting 30 minutes it arrived with soggy chips, overcooked meat, an egg that looked like it had been fried in a nuclear reactor. I backed the egg and this was quickly change to one which looked more appetising however had peices of shell in it which I founs out later on. The meat was dry and overcooked. NO KETCUP? I MEAN COME ON? NO KETCHUP? THIS PLACE IS 200M FROM MORRISONS. BUT STILL, NO KEGCHUP. The food was barely warm and a real disappointment. I'm a big fan of Wetherspoons normally and infact a shareholder but on this occasion the chef really let the side down. OXTED YOU NEED TO STOP SETTLING FOR THE "OK APPRPACH" AND START SERVING...

Not impressed! Hadn't been before and didn't know the area, asked regarding the car park directly outside their window and no one seemed too sure about the rules for parking there. Food came and the plate for the kids meal was dangerously hot and had to be changed. There was literally a teaspoon worth of peas on the adult meal so had to ask for more. Weren't told where the sauces etc were so went on a hunt round the pub to eventually find a shelf in a hidden corner with them on! Food was hard. There were cobwebs in corners and near tables. No check back to ask if meal was ok? But a member of staff managed to talk to us when SHE wanted help of finding out who's bag had been left behind on the table next to us. After explaining we didn't know where the people from that table had gone she just put the bag back on the floor and left it there.. good job it was innocently left behind and not a 'suspicious package' as it wasn't treated like one! And a good job the woman came back for it or the staff were openly leaving it for any passer by to steal! We were totally...
