As this is my local and I am a big fan of KFC I do go in quite regularly. Unfortunately the score comes down to a little inconsistency. This branch is pretty hit or miss with food and service. There are times that this is the best KFC i have ever been too, the chicken is nice crispy, flavour filled, just a part piece of chicken. The fries are warm, not soggy or stale, perfectly crisp and fluffy inside. I have some of the best chicken in this branch for sure, their mini fillets are to die for. Same with the service, you can get the happiest, cheerful and very helpful people serving you, talking you with warm smile. To those workers, you are salt of the earth, truly lovely. However not everyone is like this. I have had some servers roll their eyes, talk back to you when you are telling them the order isn't right and poor attitude. Unfortunately when I placed an order a couple months back the server didn't get the order right, so I nicely came over just to point out the fact it wasn't right, they told me "well that's what you ordered at the till, the order isn't wrong". I didn't appreciate the tone, I apologised for being a hassle, they looked through to find I was right, still huffing, dropped the item in the bag and passed it to me. I can fully understand the stress of working with food, I did it for 5 years myself. We all have our moments so I have been served by them since and they were as nice as pie. You do get times were the fries can be really cold and stale. You can get times when the burgers can be looking a bit thrown together, chicken being greasy. But overall it's great to have a KFC here. You don't get any dining areas here so it's a takeaway only. It is always busy inside, so you will have to expect a queue, it is a little small inside, so it can be a little cramped but it's rare it is to the extent of being cramped. For the price you do get a lot of food and when you want a takeaway to fill you up, KFC is the choice, you get great deals regularly, like 2.99 fillet burgers, 5 wings for 5.99 (I think that was one). This place I do recommend, as the 3 only comes down to inconsistency and just a little attitude at times, which has been extremely rare. Read moreVery annoyed. First time any places have come up available to us on uber eats, so after a bad day for both me and my partner we made our order. Order came on time, and found it great to be able to track it on the uber eats app. However there were missing items from the order, so we called KFC directly only to have a very un-caring response telling us we can't get a refund for the missing items directly, and to do so they have to go through uber eats, because unbeknownst to us the money goes to uber, not the actual takeaway!
Absolute joke really considering the missing items were chicken, the main parts of the meal, and the only other offer KFC gave was to come into store for some vouchers for free items, but the whole point of getting delivery is because we could not make it in to the store to collect in the first place!
First and last time we will use uber eats I'm afraid, although no fault of the drivers. And definitly last time we bother with this KFC branch. We hadn't used them for a while and only ever had issues with our orders previously when we had been there, but that was a few years ago and we thought maybe they could have improved by now, but clearly not. What a waste of money and a joke, feeling very unsatisfied with what we did get of our meal as we then had to split the rest of the order that was actually received instead leaving us less than full, and out of pocket....
Read moreI am totally disappointed with your customer service. It appears that staff members ignore anyone wanting to place an order face to face these days. Last night, there were 4 people including myself wanting to place an order over the counter rather than using your online system for our own valid reasons. One lady waited 15 minutes but staff ignored her. She then flagged one of the staff members for service and the response was "we have to prioritise online orders". She then carried on with an order which was not quite read ie. Packing the order as and when parts of it was cooked. The sad thing is, whilst waiting for the food, she could have served at least one of us in the queue. Another lady then asked to speak with the Manager but was told he/she was on a break and that the manager would not be back for another 10 minutes. The lady then asked for the staff members name. In response, she was told that it's not KFC's policy to give out names. Oddly enough, your receipts display the cashiers name, so why are staff not able to give thier names when asked? With that, it was obvious that the staff had no intentions to serve us. Ultimately, refused to take orders over the counter.
