Booked a reservation for 6 people last night and when we arrived they gave the impression that they just wanted us to eat and get out.
Once wee were sat down we had to ask for some menu’s cause no one brought them over for a while(10-15mins) and then we tried to order some drinks but the server walked off. We didn’t realise that is was buffet night and when we all wanted the buffet apart from one person who wanted to order off the menu, but this seemed to confuse the server and had to call his manager over. This manager was rushed and wasn’t making sense when we spoke, as we tried to explain that we all wanted to eat together so when our buffet plates come, could also the meal from the menu and then we could go up to the buffet knowing the menu meal had arrived. This however seemed too difficult as the naan breads were brought out just for the buffets and then 15 mins later the meal from the menu was brought out.
Throughout the whole night 3 different servers had served us, one saying that he wasn’t able to take our drinks order as it we weren’t in his section (even though he was serving tables next to us), and two managers, one which had no management...
Read moreBe aware there is NO DISABLED ACCESS. Their Google page says there is a wheelchair accessible toilet; this is a lie. There are steps to enter the building (no ramp available) and the disabled toilet is at the top of a very steep flight of stairs, and currently out of order anyway.
Went on a Saturday night and it was surprisingly busy. It took almost an hour for food to arrive from ordering (admittedly there were 6 of us, but there was a table of 2 next to us and timings for their meal were the same), and for much of this time staff were nowhere to be seen for ordering extra drinks, etc. We asked for tap water for the table three times and finally two glasses materialised (for the 6 of us). However, once it finally arrived the food was good and portion sizes are generous. Staff are friendly and polite, just clearly very overworked. The building is also nice and spacious, if a little too crammed...
Read moreWe spent 75 pounds on alot of food, and when it arrived it was flavourless not the taste experience we expected as the chicken tikka just tasted of tomato sauce, the veggie dansak had no lentils and the flavours was over spiced. The lamb rogan was flavourless and bland. The pilau rice was just a normal rice. And after spending 75 pounds you expect maybe a few poppadoms thrown in. Nope. The 9 pound mixed grill contained 2 pieces of chicken 2 pieces of lamb and one kofta, and the lamb was tough and dry, for 9 pounds! One good experience from this take away was the pashwari naan. So 75 quid for 2 nice naan breads and a ton of almost inedible food. I expect contact from the restaurant and I will happily come in to discuss the poor experience. With the left over food. Its a shame as I love to eat in at naz but perhaps I won't be doing that...
