The Case of the Missing Hash Brown....
Disappointed with my Click & Collect experience...I was at work and decided a Sunday morning breakfast would be a nice treat, the Gluten Free options are second to none and so I placed an order for collection. I was told it would be 20 minutes, ideal I thought! Arriving 20 minutes later I was made to wait a further 10 minutes (not the end of the world). I was given the bag of deliciousness and went on my way. Now, it's important to note here that hash browns are my favourite part of a breakfast. Nothing beats their golden crispy delight. So, I began unpacking the separate pots, mildly underwhelmed by the snotty eggs, but again- not the end of the world. However, things really took a turn for the worst when I opened the final pot. Do my eyes deceive me? Is this some form of elaborate prank? Inside the box, a perfectly cooked sausage, button mushrooms BUT....instead of golden crispy delight, there was a vacant space - void of any hash browns. The disappointment was real. Unfortunately, due to being at work I wasn't able to return and address the case of the missing hashbrowns so I was left with a small but prominent feeling of sadness.
Overall, the staff are great and I've previously had fab experiences. But unfortunately, will be not be utilising Click & Collect again through fear of experiencing the...
Read moreMy daughter and I came in today as it is my Birthday, when waiting to be seated I asked the gentleman if they served mocktails (for my daughter) he advised me they did, very friendly and welcoming. We were seated and I ordered myself a drink and my daughter a mocktail. Just before we were leaving I nipped upstairs to the restroom, as I came downstairs a waitress was speaking with my daughter saying she was not meant to be drinking the mocktail as she required ID and asking where her mum was, even though I had asked prior to being seated... I have never had an issue elsewhere when my daughter has had a mocktail which obviously is alcohol free , I stated to the waitress the menu should clearly state that ID is still required to drink these non alcoholic beverages, a very arrogant, abrupt and rude reply telling me to forget it then as she stormed off. Never been here before but won't be going back for that reason, not only was her manner rude she took the opportunity whilst I was in the restroom to question my daughter which made her feel...
Read moreSlow and unprofessional waitresses. I reckon I have had better service at a cheap Weatherspoons. Mould on bread which when returned to waitress at bar she sighed ‘Oh for f*s sake’ before taking it back to the kitchen. No free drink or food offered as an apology until we later complained to step in manager who offered us a free round of drinks. Food kept coming out at different times, one friend waited for 10 minutes after everyone else’s food had been served before we had to chase the waitress to see where food was. Veggie burger came with no sauce or salad and when told to waitress she didn’t appear to have a clue what the menu offered. Had to again be returned. Desserts which were meant to be warm came out cold. Really disappointed, it may be a new joint but it’s got more teething problems than I would like. Was told that I would be contacted by manager regarding issues but haven’t heard anything so hence why I’m leaving review. Won’t be going again nor would I recommend...
