The Market Gate — Restaurant in Teignbridge

I have been a customer for 28 years. In the last few months I have suffered the aggression and judgment of their female bouncer enough now. I thought initially last night that I’d finally had enough and would make a complaint. However, I’ve just read the owner, I would now guess may also be a disregulated angry person because why would you choose to respond on a public forum to a person, (who I have no idea of) that is so very clearly a vindictive, not very bright but also angry person. My judgment about not making a complaint, I fear may be well grounded. I am so disappointed on this platform because their food is excellent. I will be back to detail specifically why this woman should not be working in this role anywhere. I’m shocked but now feel that my suspicions have been confirmed.

I've ordered food from here via Just Eat multiple times and only once was something slightly wrong. (I've forgotten what, but, it wasn't major)

Anyway, the food is cooked to perfection and always tasty!

It's changed a lot as a place since I used to go in back when it was owned by someone else. However, it's well laid out. The owner and staff seem pretty friendly and relaxed.

Edit: Came in for a mates birthday and the football was on informed relevant staff members and owner after being showered in glass after someone threw one "Infront of ten + people" nobody cared. Spend the best part of ten minutes getting glass out my jeans. I've come to this place for years, talk to the owner all the time and this left a real sour taste in my mouth.
