KFC Clacton - Brook Retail Park — Restaurant in Tendring

Disgusted with their general attitude ,unclean ,slow service ,and the manager refused my husband when he wanted to purchase a plain burger bun ,my Four year old Daughter who has medical problems had her regular pop chicken meal but wanted a plain burger bun to go with it ,not a problem at Braintree branch where nothing's to much trouble however at Clacton on sea everything seems to be a bother ,from emptying the bins ,cleaning the floors and tables ,toilets are disgusting ,as soon as a few people start to show up the staff all seem to be at the front counter in disarray whilst the back of house staff don't seem to have food ready. It's been several months since we came to this one as it's always a mess and air con on full even when it's not warm weather ,hoped it would have changed but no ,still the same ! Fair enough our Daughter asked for the plain bun whilst my husband was waiting for the order ,but when he approached the girl to just ask if he could please purchase the plain bun ,a male colleague muttered something to her ,she then went in the back only to return stating the manager that was on duty had said no if we wanted a burger we had to order a fillet burger or something like as we were not allowed to purchase a plain bun and my husband then had to reque to order it and then they left him stood ages whilst it was given to him ! I thought KFC was a family friendly establishment however apart from Braintree, we encounter constant bombastic staff behaviour at other KFC branches ,from us pulling up with our young Daughters and the young girl locking the doors on us and another customer 20 mins early and laughing and pointing with her colleagues in Liverpool to Newark on Trent treating regular Pepsi like it's an illegal substance and staff muttering we sent supposed to sell you regular Pepsi, we have it on a separate pump in the back but we arnt supposed to sell it ...What?!! My Daughter has hypoglycemia and sometimes needs sugar, all this sugar is harmful yet the government continue to pedal us man made harmful chemicals ,it's the diesel car is better for the environment all over again ! Anyway that's a different rant ,behave KFC ,you don't have a business without customers ,oh and shrinking your hot chocolate and taking away the cream ,enforcing less cocoa powder so it's like dishwasher and putting froth on top ,a decent hot chocolate it does not make ! it's disgusting ,go get lessons from Gregg's who know how to make a lovely large hot chocolate ,it's your deep fried chicken that's unhealthy if you want to get down to it not drinking cocoa! Oh btw where is the burrito ? Bad enough you wernt allowed to buy chips with it ,you now can't...

1:30 am visit … food barely warm, no serviette’s damn it.. REPLY ADDED. after a response from KFC.. Thank you for your timely response, albeit a standard reply, Striving to improve isn't really a good response though, KFC have had 95 years in which to strive to improve, i would have thought service and quality should be 100% perfection by now... I am a taxi driver who regularly works in clacton, I did actually bring my customers to KFC at 1:45 am and they spent £30 they were on their way home from Colchester and were asking if i could recommend an eatery, they were very happy for me to drive them to KFC , after taking them home I decided to get myself a meal and sit in the car park to have a rest and eat, I had the Small Bucket and a pepsi.. to my disappointment i found the food luke warm, chips soft and floppy and the chicken slightly warm and quite dry, and to top it off, and nothing to wipe my greasy hands on, KFC used to give a lemon hand wipe and a few serviettes, annoying to say the least, I know thats its very late at night and your staff are probably tired, but im sorry standards should not slip, In my Job I have to be on the ball 100% of the time, watching out for drunks, animals jumping out in front of me, which happens a lot ! and idiot drivers, to keep my passengers safe, Who incidentally have the option to leave me feedback which can affect the amount of work i get, So please don't just strive to improve, be the best KFC and watch sales increase, A bad reputation spreads fast, don't be complacent it never works out well...,...

THERE ALLWAYS FORGETTING PART OF AN ORDER ,I didn't get my Corn on the Cob, £1.99 ,Ok that's not a lot of money, but you Add that up ,every day there missing something out of your order, Just for instance there's 364 days a year ,take 4 days off for Bank holiday an xmas , they miss items out of orders worth £5.00 every day and by the end of the year ,that's £1,800 they gain ,then add that up to all the rest of the KFC Restaurant, that works out a lot of money ,Also when they had thin chips ,they were so hard ,it broke my Front tooth , I phoned and complained, they said put them in the fridge till you come up ,I went the next day ,gave them the chips, a few weeks later i got a letter,with a voucher for £10, and the letter said ,there was nothing wrong with the chips ,they were soft not hard, now I know why they told me to put them in the fridge, it softened them. THEN THEY SAID IT WAS DOWN TO POOR HYGIENE OF MY TEETH, WELL THERE LUCKY THEY NEVER SAID THAT TO MY FACE ,I WOULD HAVE SHOVED THOSE CHIPS WERE THE SUN DON'T SHINE.,I HAD PERFECT TEETH ,BEFORE THERE ROTTEN CHIP AND ISN'T IT WEIRD THAT THEY NOW DO FAT CHIPS .
