Welcome Chinese Take Away — Restaurant in Tendring

I have not been for little while and when I ordered my meal over the phone and they told me the price it was 10p more expensive which I know things go up anyway when I got there I did a quick look at the price and picked up a new menu only to find out the prices on my menu were correct.I asked why I was paying 10p more and was told it was for the bag. I know about saving the planet etc but if I was told in the first place we have to pay for there little white plastic bag I would have brought my own as I do everywhere else or for warned me I just like to be asked or mentioned about this not just put on the bill . I wonder sometimes about the review question writers. This is just a takeaway so atmosphere is hard to generate and equally hard to rate. What I can say is the staff are all friendly but very busy. The phones are buzzing all the time but the staff never make me feel overlooked. When I drop in to order the food is ready in a quick time and piping hot. My son who has lived in London for years always wants food from here because he says it is as good or better than most in regional London, and much cheaper. All in all I won't be trying anywhere...

Have been ordering delivery for years from Welcome. Last night I placed an order, told the amount, queried price as so much more than the web, they said they aren’t on the web but they’ll send a new price list. They then hung up. I was charged £15.40, yet prices on the new price list came to £12.70 - £2.70 overcharged. Chicken Chow Mein was minus the chicken. They are on the web, it even shows a picture of the place.
